Female Pregnancy and AAS

Dudes,
This question pertains to women getting pregnant while on AAS.

My girlfriend is on 10 mg anavar (ED) and 50mg of Eq a week she just got off of the birth control last month due to water retention. Could she still become pregnant.

Would the AS that she is taking hinder the ability for her to "conceive" she still has her period!

FYI- She started anavar about 4 wks ago and is 2 wks in to the EQ.
Me I am on EQ at 500 a wk 50mg of proviron a day and will start Winstrol (winny) Tonight at 50 EOD!

Even though she is on Anavar and The EQ? She just got off the pill after like 3 months so she has only been off for this last month.

If she were to get Prego would the AS cause problems for the child....would it effect the growth/mentally or physically?

Remember I am also on so the likelyhood would be less right??

bump as this is the same question i want to ask. can women get pregnant while on Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) if they have stopped taking birth control. i'm on a cycle to at the same time. supergirl your advice needed please.

well... steroids can stop a menstrual cycle so therefore it can stop pregnancy...
also steriods can negatively effect the fetus...

A woman's reproductive system is in the line of fire when steroids are in use because of diminished estrogen activity. Her hypothalamis-pituitary-gonadal axis is off balance. With the increase of testosterone circulating, a decline in estrogen and progesterone occurs. Steroid use can result in the inhibition of follicle formation, ovulation, and irregularities of menstrual cycle which can lead to amenorrhea (absence or suppression of the menstrual cycle). A study conducted with 9 female weight-lifters showed all, but 2 women had menstrual abnormalities (Malarkey et al.; 1991). A woman also runs a very high risk of developing cervical and/ or endometrical cancer and uterine atrophy. Pregnant woman using steroids can do much damage to her unborn child causing growth retardation of her fetus and pseudohermanphroditism (a person having both male and female physical body and character traits, can be affected anatomically as well). Infertility can result from an extended period of anabolic steroid use.
