finasteride or dutasteride?

Studies show that dutasteride is more effective but I dont hear much about it. Are the sides even worse than fin? Is it ok to use one of these just as precaution while on cycle or should I wait untill I notice actual hairloss??

Very curious about this as well I have a receded hair line and was wondering if I should get this for cycle

No dutesteride - bald head with stiff dick
Dutesteride - hair on head with limp dick

It's a crappy decision to have to make ain't it

Blocking the creation of DHT is a bad idea. It's an important androgenic hormone, part of what makes you a man. Erectile dysfunction is just one side effect of these drugs. Overall feminization can leave long lasting or permanent side effects.

I thought these drugs just block dht at the scalp and skin levels

Dutasteride is more potent, if finasteride isnt cutting it then go for dura. I'd rather keep my DHT and wear a toupe.

No, Fina and Duta block the conversion of test (natural or exogenous) to DHT, everywhere. How do you want a drug you ingest to effect only the outer layers of your body?
These compounds will therefore help on test-converted DHT only, they will have no effect on DHT derivative steroids. As mentioned by others, DHT is both anabolic and androgenic, bringing its level down will hinder your gains but more importantly can potentially cause very serious libido issues. Don't use them until you experience hairloss and even then think about it wisely. For prevention you can use topical products (azelaic acid, minoxidil, etc...)

Topical is a great option if it works for you. We should some breakthroughs with mpb treatments in the coming decades thanks to gene/stem cell research. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Try ketoconazole shampoo first. It's a very mild DHT and testosterone antagonist, as well as a mild enzyme inhibitor. Topical application will spare the systemic side effects.

I have been on dutasteride for over a year. No side-effects yet. Everyone reacts differently.

Only thing I question is running deca with dutasteride..

check out RU58841

Are the sides that common? Even on trt and on a blast? I dont even know if im prone to MPB

Fina killed my libido for over 6 months while still on very high dosages of test. Imagine having a dick that does not work with even cialis or viagra. That's fucked up. I would've ended my life if I hadn't recovered somehow. Fortunately I wasn't on fina for that long so I did recover. Not worth it. Especially if you aren't even sure you'd bald. Fina also fucked up my gains. Just don't cycle if you aren't willing to risk your hair.
