first cycle advice (better advice)

Hey guys,

Pardon another noob question here, but how the heck do I dose with an oral synringe? I'm totally thrown off by the tip part, am I supposed to break it off or something lol...how can I accurately dose if I don't know how much the tip contains due to no hash marks on that portion of the syringe.

Sorry, never used one of these before. Thanks.

Hey all,

Quick update here, half way through week 4. Can't say I'm feeling the full effects, not sure what I should expect either. I'm horny as a goat for sure, but no real gains. I've leaned up very well, still some in the gut area. Training has been on point, cardio in the morning fasting, I've been following a custom made 3J Diet and have not strayed from it at all - very clean, and very consistent.

No sides from what I can tell, none from the .25mg of arimidex either.

I was supposed to start the Var next week, but now that I'm not really feeling or seeing anything from the Test Cyp - I don't want to throw in the var cause I won't know what is doing what.

Should I extend the Cycle to 12 weeks and start the var in week 7? I'd like to do that if possible.

This week I have felt a little stronger, and once I'm done my work-out, a few minutes later I feel like I could do the whole thing over again. I started off at roughly 200, and now I'm still 200 but about 2-3% leaner maybe.

Is it normal it's taking this long? Thanks all.

Most that I've seen include the tip as part of the .1ml line. I'd have to see yours to know if this is the case or not.

For starters, there isn't a "kick" from testosterone. I know we all (I'm even guilty of saying it) say that it "kicks in", but you have to more or less gauge that by how you're recovering or you'll even notice that the weight is just getting easier and easier to lift. You can't even judge it by side effects (although libido is one) as a properly run cycle will simply not have many at all as they are due to elevated estradiol. ;)

12 weeks is perfect for a first time and if you can run it that long I would. If you're not seeing good gains yet, you may just have a little bit longer until you've built up enough of the hormone in your blood stream to see actual results. Some guys do take up to 5-6 weeks, so that is entirely possible. Good call on the 3J diet though; you will definitely see some very nice gains by the end of the cycle. :)

It's from RU, so it's got some weird tip at the end and now the numbers are wearing off, so I'll need a new one. But the tip isn't removable. I've been just drawing up to .5 on the oral syringe and administer until it's down to 2.5...was the only way I could think of, that works, right?

You're awesome bro. Thanks for the info and guidance. Should I do the Var at 7 weeks instead of at 5 then if I'm going to go 12 weeks? Thanks again.

hey guys, so start of week 5 today, no size gains, same weight through out the entire cycle so far, and have been eating more and cleaner than I ever have...starting to get discouraged despite my efforts, should I bump things up to 500mg/week?

Weight can be a tricky metric to use when determining overall gains if you are also losing body fat at the same time. Do you happen to have access to at least a body fat caliper (I can hear Austinite wincing as I type this) to determine if that is the reason why the scale hasn't moved? I see no reason why you can't bump it up to 500mg/wk, but I would get a blood test (privatemdlabs is a great cheap option for this) to confirm that it is legitimate.

lol thanks...you definitely made my heart rate lower about by about 10-15 bpm, lol...was getting worried for a sec... I mean, libido is definitely rocking, and yesterday I did chest and simply could NOT burn my chest out. I finished up with push-ups to failure, did a set of 30, which normally would ice it for me after a good work-out. But yesterday I did, FIVE sets of 30, AFTER my entire workout - which was definitely a solid one. I started questioning my work-out, but I worked my ass off, for some reason I was just still able to do push-up after push-up, and after about a 30 second rest, could do it all over again and the first 15-20 felt like nothing.

Just worried about those #'s, ideally I would've wanted to hit 210-215 by cycle's end - but as you said, shouldn't be much longer *fingers crossed* :Pump:

If it makes you feel better (this is slightly a different case, but still applies), I was almost 480lbs when I started TRT. I had been trying FOREVER to lose weight, but just couldn't no matter what as low T does that to your metabolism and it's very frustrating to say the least. Anyway, to the point; Once I was dialed in I KNEW I was losing body fat, but that scale continued to stay put. Even my doctor was starting to get concerned and was trying to get me to do this stupid medical weight loss deal (HOLY CRAP, I think I have hot lesbians for new neighbors! SORRY, distracted while sitting by the window :() as he thought I would benefit from it. I asked him if I could continue doing what I was doing as it felt like I was getting somewhere even though that stupid scale kept spitting out the same number.

Weeks went by and I was starting to get frustrated. I was spending 5-6 days a week in the gym and doing FAR more cardio than any sane man not going to competition would want to. FINALLY, I saw a change on the scale... IT WENT UP! I freaked out a little, but then remembered that muscle does indeed weigh more than fat, and I should be patient. Just a few short weeks later, those numbers started plummeting as I was continuing to eat better and that new muscle was doing its thing. That was 153lbs ago and I almost never look at the scale but once a week now.

My point is, while you're hoping to see those numbers go up - there is always going to be a period of time where your composition shifts slightly. If you happen to be a little on the "skinny-fat" side, this may take longer than you'd hope - but it will move eventually. The fact that you're not on here boasting about 30lbs in 5 weeks tells me that you're also making good use of that AI as well. I applaud you for that. :)

I do however think that getting a blood panel done in a week or two would still be in your best interests so you have an idea on how things are going "under the hood". I also get a kick out of ordering a sensitive testosterone assay so I can see those OMGNUMBERS for my total test value, so I can not only take comfort in knowing I'm using legitimate gear, but so I have a point of reference for the future in case I try new labs or want to have an idea where I should be for a particular dose.

I do recommend doing more resistance training than plyometrics/cardio as that's how you're going to actually build more muscle. Nothing wrong with pushups, but I think you'll be better served by doing some good chest presses at a weight where 10 reps is difficult for 3-5 sets with some flies/cross overs (Dre just winced this time)/incline press/etc. Also, don't neglect those legs! I want to push over every guy that I see with pencil legs and a huge upper body just to see how physics treats him with that goofy center of mass. ;)

Thanks for sharing!

I definitely have been doing resistance and those 10 reps at difficult weight - those push-ups were strictly at the very end of my workout because I had some energy left where I normally would not, and I was amazed how easy it was in comparison to a month ago. I've always been pretty strong, but 5 sets of 30 push ups after an hour of brutal chest exercises...strange.

I work my legs out every week! No worries :) Also, I'm getting my T checked next Thursday, so I'll post with an update of levels! Thanks man, means a lot.

Nice! Definitely looking forward to those results. :D

Have a Happy Thanksgiving! I bet it's going to be awesome on a bulk! :spin:
