First ever cycle, pct advice needed

About to start my first ever cycle. I'm on an a 8 week cut, aiming to lose about 12 lbs in that time and hit 10% body fat.
Training, diet/macros are spot on, just curious to see what different results ill see on a cut, hence my choice to do my first cycle.

I'm going to do an Anavar only cycle. I've got 60 x 50 mg tablets.

Going to do 50 mg ed for 35 days, then 75mg for last 16 days.

Was going to run it with creatine ester and Muscle pharm Battle Fuel XT test booster. ( for the record I can't get hold of test, and not sure i want to pin first cycle anyway, maybe in the future)

I've got clomid and nolvadex for post cycle therapy (pct).
probably need some advice on that. As really concerned about using clomid after reading how it can cause heavy depression.

Any advice welcome, especially on the pct side of things. As some people have advised me that no pct is needed on a anavar only oral 7 week cycle.

Thanks.

Oral only cycle is a very bad idea. And yes Var will shut you down like any other compound, so you'll need PCT.
Test only should be your 1st cycle.

Do some more research on anavar and aas in general. Sounds like you need some more knowledge before playing with your hormones.

Ok fair enough. Thanks all.

I've been training for 15 years. Only on the last two have I started to do it properly. Meaning got my training right and more importantly my diet right. In pretty decent shape, I was just curious to see how much further anavar will push me.

I don't get why people don't like first cycles being oral only, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a limp dick, crying during commercials and feeling like a girl. You don't need to worry about getting laid cause you can't get it up anyways. Takes so much performance anxiety away when you know you cant perform.

Surely that why Viagra was invented? ;-)

no hate but wtf were u doing for 13 years in the gym..... if it took you that long to figure out what you're doing then this cycling thing will take you like 30 years to figure out :

Sorry I should elaborate. It was my diet and macros that I've really just got down to a tee the last few years and also realised that alcohol doesn't help.

My training has always been pretty good. But I'd have 3,4 or even 6 month breaks and have to start again. I've stopped all that and treat training as a full time hobby.

If you're only worried about sides a var cycle would be fine - being "shut off" temporarily isn't necessarily the end of the world.

OP said he's worried about the depression side of clomid...you don't think shutting down testosterone production affects this?
