First injection

Sup guys, just injected for the first time and lets just say it went less than smooth. I pulled back on the plunger (using 23 gauge, 1" needle) to pull in air. I plunged it into the vial and pushed in all the air in the syringe. I then pulled back on the plunger and initially all it pulled in was air (yes, the tip was below the liquid). Finally, some began to come in and I pulled it back with the small amount of air still in the top. I pulled in the desired amount of liquid and pushed the plunger to get rid of the excess air. As I pushed out the air, some of the liquid began to dribble out. After I had pushed out all of the air I was left with about 75% of my intended amount (1ml). The rest went smooth, injection didn't hurt at all.

My questions are...

1. How do I make the drawing of the test easier?
2. Should I compensate on the second weekly injection with 1.25 ml (taking test e).

Thanks guys.

the reason you pulled in air when you pulled back the plunger is because a 23g needle is to small to suck in gear that fast. In reality you didnt pull in air you just created more pressure to suck in. If you want to make drawing out easier then use a larger needle.

and yes .2ml of air in the syringe is good to have because it will force all the gear into your muscle....muscles can handle what seems to be infinite amounts of air and be fine where as veins can be injected with 100ml of straight air in a healthy person before causing damage and 25ml of air in a sick person before damage begins...damage equals air embolism

I personally use a 19" to draw. Swap over to the 23". Make sure the air is out of the syringe (no bubbles), use an alcohol wipe on the injection site and then straight in.

Thank you. If I continue to draw with the 23g, should I just slow down the pulling of the plunger?

Sound like you created a vaccuum.

Go get yourself some 21G needles, or something along that line.
It's nice to switch tips before you inject.

Good info here and if you pull .9ml of your compound with the air bubble you will get 10 1ml injections out of your 10ml vial. a 23g 1in pin will hold .1ml, so no air bubble and you are throwing away 1 shot out of 10. Also warm your vial with a hair dryer or set the vial in warm water before you draw your dose, it will thin the oil a little and draw easier. Also injecting the same amount of air into the vial will help from creating a vacuum in the vial.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I will try this all next time.

Btw, I can't send PMs. Do I need a certain amount of posts first?
