First TEST Cycle what do you guys think about the progress?

5" 11', 175 LBS 38 years old 13% body fat.
Work out 5 times a week. Lifting 4 days cross fit boot camp 1 day a week for cardio

3 weeks in to my cycle Its a first time TEST E cycle. 500 iu a week, The Test is from my favorite UNCLE.

Diet was 2400 for maintenance, now 3000. Using Alan Aragon's diet method. (basically body weight in protein, half body weight in fats and the rest of cal in carbs ) Trying to Bulk

1st week was eating about 2400 cal, 2ed week about 2700 and this week about 3000

So far, in this 3 weeks i have gained about 5 LBS... was expecting more weight gain.....Does this seem right or am i putting on weight too slowly? Should i eat more or is this about normal for a TEST E cycle?

I don't start feeling the strength and weight gains until about week 5 or 6 with test-e. Acctually it's when I'm off cycle for a month do I realize the gains and miss test.

So only have gained 5LBS in 3 weeks is normal??

I should not eat more?
 
Some could be water weight but it ok. I would inrease cals every 2 weeks or so to help feed the muscles as they grow. As burns mentioned, around week 5 you will start noticing changes. Be patient, train smart, and eat in the meantime. Good luck

So stay at 3000 right now, because I've been 3000 for 1 week now then after next week. Go up in cal again?

I guess i am also asking how much over maintenance cal should i be eating with out getting too fat?
