Hello all,
Been reading and researching for a bit and decided to post and see if anyone can relate. First off don't want to make the post into a novel but its a fairly in depth subject. So I apologize in advance if I seem to ramble will try not to break forum rules. I am 41 years old from western Canada the oil province to be a bit more specific. Worked out religiously 20 years ago but got away from it for certain reasons. I was diagnosed with RRMS when I was 20. In case your not familiar RRMS=relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. Am one of the luck ones though hasn't had a major impact on my life (yet). Have never ran a cycle of anything but has always interested me. Now before everyone jumps all over me and says are you stupid, crazy etc etc lol hold your thoughts please. I am not talking about getting on a cycle asap. Researching and asking questions at this point. I have always taken a very knowledge based approach to my disease and health. Its crucial for having a good relationship with doctors. If anyone on here has had to deal with some of the gods(neurologists) you know what I am talking about. Anyway after a 20 year layoff lol I am going to start slowly hitting the gym again. Pacing myself at a good speed to not overdue things. Which led me to this site which I have to say is great. Much respect to the moderators here they seem very knowledgeable. Funny as f*** at times too when ripping on guys about oral cycles lol. Let me tell you I can relate to those oral guys though!! You would not believe the amount of ms patients who struggle with needles!! The 4 major drugs to treat ms are injectables and oral is the holy grail of ms drugs because of the needles. The interferon drugs have nasty side effects. I have had my GP inject me once a week for the past 10 years. Anyways back on track lol ya I ramble on so what screw you lol. Been researching allot on testosterone and MS. Seems it has a very protective role in the CNS. There have been studies on its benefits. MS causes number one fatigue, loss in cognitive thinking, muscle atrophy, and the list goes on and on. Studies have shown very positive effects on allot of ms related problems with testosterone replacement. Studies have also shown the majority of men with ms have low T. So on my monday visit for my interferon shot I am going to throw the idea out there about low T. Get it tested and go from there. If it is low and the doc is willing to work with me in 6 to 12 months maybe I can kill two birds with one stone? Maybe help protect my CNS a little, start turning back the atrophy, better overall felling, etc etc etc. So after the novel I wrote lol my question is anyone relate to this? Anyone have any experience with this? Its about knowledge and being as informed as we can be......thats the key!! Thanks guys oh and of course gals.
