Football Workouts?

Hey whats up everybody? The pass few weeks i wanted to switch up my workouts. So i thought about doing full body workouts. I have never done full body work outs before. I heard about doing like football workouts and that you improve a lot for it and i want to give it a try. So if you guys know any good work outs or websites that have workouts please let me know. Thank you guys
 
Well, it all depends.

In football you have linemen, who are fat and strong, and I'm not sure that's what you want; and then, you have running backs who are semi-strong and fast.

What kind of build you looking for?

Regardless, football workouts incorporate a lot of plyometrics and Olympic lifts, such as power cleans, snatches, hang cleans, push presses, squats, deads.

They tend to focus on those lifts which integrate lots of muscle groups at one time.

If you check out this site, it's got a lot of plymoetric exercises and power lifts.

Specifically, power lifts concentrate on speed and explosiveness. The theory is, why lift heavy if you can't do anything with it.

i would have to go with larry on this... what are you looking for? you can look up in general football workout training on any work out website.... what you want in general for your image is what is needed to even give an idea of what you should do. or think in consideration
 
That site is pretty informative...I have been doing full body workouts for a couple years now..

1.bench
squat
rows

2.Overhead press
Deads
Pull ups/Dips

Mixing things up adding Dumbbells, lunges...I must say this is my favorite routine

Chest - Flat Bench Press
Back - Dumbbell Rows
Legs - Barbell Squats
Shoulders - Seated Dumbbell Press
Tri's - Incline Tricep Extensions
Bi's - Chinups (3x10), Hammer Curls (3x6)
Forearms - Reverse EZ Bar Curls (3x6)

Wednesday:
Chest - Flat Dumbbell Press
Back - Bent Over Barbell Rows
Legs - Deadlifts
Shoulders - Barbell Military Press
Tri's - Flat Skullcrushers
Bi's - Incline Dumbbell Curls
Forearms - Barbell Wrist Curls (4x10)

Friday:
Chest - Incline Dumbbell Press supersetted with Flat Dumbbell Fly's
Back - Lat Pulldown supersetted with bent over Reverse Dumbbell Fly's
Legs - Calf Raises (5x10)
Shoulders/Traps - Dumbbell Side Laterals supersetted with Dumbbell Shrugs
Tri's - Reverse Grip Flat Skullcrushers
Bi's - Barbell Curls
Forearms - Reverse Barbell Wrist Curls (4x10)
