forearm pain

I get a sharp pain in my posterior (same side as back of hand, not the palm side) forearm about 2 inches below my elbow, when I do motions like reverse curls, upright rows, or lateral raises. I have been having this pain for several months but it seems to be getting worse.

My plan is to:

1) not use the offending excerices for about 3 weeks, then start back with these excersies at much lighter weight for a few weeks before starting to increase the weight.

2) take Ibuprofen twice daily for about 5 weeks

3) use an ice pack daily for at least 20 minutes

4) use "Bengay: Muscle Pain/Ultra Strength" daily for 5 weeks

Does anyone have any input regarding this plan?
 
Yes, ur screwed lol. My forearms have been hurting me for 2 years. Tried using straps, tried pysio, etc nothing works. I esp feel it in heavy BB curls, but i've learned to live with it.
