Frontloading with fresh receptors? Why? why not?

Whats up guys,

I'm still playing around in natty land, and will be for a while longer, but i was wondering what everyones experience with front loading is?? I tend to be a numbers guy and if i start punching in half lifes into excel it occurs to me that the standard 500mg of test e starter plan really isn't 500mg until the very end of your cycle. Mathematically it makes sense to me to just bump the initial dose way up to compensate, or use a shorter ester to get things moving and overlap it into the longer ester. But a couple of the knuckleheads i talk to at the gym disagree and say there is absolutely no need to frontload on fresh virgin receptors. While i do value their opinion somewhat, it really doesn't hold a lot of weight for me since i think i can crush them naturally. Lets hear from some people that know what the hell they are talking about! Let me know what you have done, and if you would do it again.

Stats:
24 Years old
6'4"
210lbs (recently trimmed from 265)
Training: on and off for 10 years, really serious about lifting for the last 3, just recently started to understand that diet is 80% of it and that i wasted a bunch of time by not taking it serious.
Currently cutting but would slowly taper back up to a bulk before hitting any aas.
Goal: Lean Bulk (NOT interested in putting on a ton of "weight" that i just bust my ass to take off)
Don't know about blood base levels but i would get them done before i started, when ever that is (maybe next year).

Guys usually use dbol, tbol, or a short ester as a kick or front load.
I would recommend going with standard protocol for a first cycle (400-600mg).
Not sure how beneficial increasing the dosage of a long ester would be.

Hopefully a few vets will drop in for you bro.

I have front loaded before and honestly it just makes things more confusing. I would recommend just sticking to the basics for any first cycle. Front loading can also make any side effects like water retention or gyno happen a lot faster. I think that on your first cycle you should just make everything as simple as possible. Yes their is the possibility that front loading will make you get bigger faster. But I would really recommend against doing it especially on a first cycle.

And then on your next cycle you can experiment with front loading if you really want to. But for a second cycle you could easily add in something like T-bol to kick start it faster. Or use a shorter ester that involves more frequent injections like test prop. But like I said for your first cycle it is in your best interest to not front load.

....guess I ll go back to bed...fuck.

I agree with people about not over complicating your 1st cycle. Side effects are definitely dosage related and until you have an understanding of them and know how to manage them IN YOUR BODY it is best to go slow and figure these things out.

Having said that frontloading makes a lot of sense in long-acting compounds (where the half-life exceeds dosing schedule) and it will make cycles a lot more productive in the end. Now if the half-life of the compound is equal to the dosing schedule ( example 5 day half-life administering every 5 days) it makes no sense to frontload.

I hope this helps you.

your receptors are always "fresh" IMO, they die and grow all day... there are many other factors as to why gains slow down on cycle over time IMO.
I rec no front loading BS... pick dose and stick to it. if anything I would up it later on a bit if i was on a long cycle.. just me

Its hard enough managing hormonal fluctuation without this complication. Keep it simple, gain some experience and maybe down the road at some point. Like juced said ar are always being regenerated. "Fresh" is a misnomer...
