Frozen Veggies Vs. Fresh Veggies Question

GET BIG
Recently, I got my own apartment. This means I'm doing my own shopping which i am completely new to for the most part. I realized that my diet had been lacking in veggies so i bought a couple bags of frozen broccoli's spinach etc... I was wondering if there is any nutrition that is lost since it is frozen. I know fresh would be the way to go, but its really not optimal for me at this point.

No, not in my opinion bro. I think any loss or difference between fresh v.s. frozen is negligable. I do the same thing. I cook w/fresh when I have time but the fozen are great for quick healthy meals. Now the canned stuff I don't really trust. It just doesn't seem as good as fresh and frozen.
Move out of Mom and Dad's???

yezzir... on my own, and the funny thing is im eating better shit than at home (step mom is a lousy cook.

I do the same when i am busy, only I buy frozen organic veggies, all different kinds. All cut and washed-just dump in pan with a little olive oil, add beef or chicken and seasonings.

The important thing about loosing nutrients in vegetables is not to over cook them. Overcooking destroys nutrients much more than freezing. Cook vegetables gently (not high heat) and leave crunchy, not mushy, and don't nuke them.

some argue that frozen veggies are "fresher" than fresh because they are flash frozen almost immediately after being picked. "fresh" veggies have time to age from the time they get to the point of origin to your kitchen.

which is better? who knows. the difference probably means fuckall anyway. i wouldnt put any thought into it, just buy whatever you like or whatevers on sale.
