Full Body Workout

Anyone ever try a M,W,F full body workout with low volume. I have been on a 1 bodypart/week for 2 months now and am gonna switch it up. Who out there has tried something like this and how was it?

Squats, 1-2 warm up sets and 1 work set of 6-8 reps
Deadlift, 1 work set of 6-8 reps
Bench press, 1 warm up and 1 work set of 6-8 reps
Chins, 1 work set 6-8 reps. (Add weight as necessary)
Dips, 1 work set of 6-8 reps. (Add weight as necessary)
DB rows, 1 work set of 6-8 reps
BB curls, 1 work set of 6-8 reps
 
i have done this routine before...it was a good way for me to condition my body...i hit everything three days a week...
mon. heavy squats and heavy back...light everything else

wed.heavy bench and heavy tri's

fri. heavy shoulders and bi's light everything else

i loved this routine..i shed about 8 % body fat while on it..my diet was pretty clean though
 
i think its is always nice to change it up. even if you dont get any significant gains, motion prep is going to pay off when you switch back to a more "standard" style of working out, if not sooner.keep us posted
 
Check out 5x5, there is a sticky about it in this forum. If you don't gain a ton of mass and strength on 5x5, then you just weren't eating enough.
