I want to know if it is possible to gain noticible size from proper diet and a workout consisting of push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups?

Or are weights the only way to get those gains?

You may gain a bit of size but nothing to get excited about. Lift heavy and eat heavy that's how you gain size.

You'll gain more cuts than anything bro. Look at people fresh out of basic training, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

As an absolute beginner, you'll probably gain a little size, but a negligible amount, compared to what you would weight training.

interesting you mentined this. we were just talking at the gym the other day about hershall walker. big mofo and all he ever did was sit ups, push ups, pull ups til he went to college. he was huge when he got there. good genes though.

you know what if you eat good and hit 1 set to failure on each movement you will get some results. keep the cardio limited to low impact. now you will get better results traing heavy but high reps to failure sets do make a differnce. look at certain tradesman. the years of repition with moderate weight puts size on ya. sheet rock hangers are a good example.
