A little background about me, I'm 47, this is my first ever cycle. I've done some PH a couple of times w/good results in the past.
I weighed 172 going in, with about 20 years of hard lifting behind me. I like to keep my bodyfat between 9-11, & was about 11ish going into the cycle. My diet is pretty clean, & as I mentioned, I've been doing this a while.
Prior to my cycle, I injured my leg pretty severely...like, cut some tendons & stuff. I waited 6 weeks after the injury prior to starting my cycle-unable to squat, but was eager to get going. I knew I could focus on blasting upper body for 3-4 weeks before getting my legs re-involved.
3 weeks into the cycle, (enth & hcg), I inured my shoulder benching...most likely a minor tear. Luckily, I had an upcoming appointment with the ortho, & I learned about TB500 on Ology. I conivnced him to inject the shoulder with cortizone, & started on the TB right away. four weeks later, I'm pretty happy with the results. Of course I'm still taking it pretty easy, focusing on light weights & plenty of reps, but I was repping with 80# DB's today for sets of 15 with no pain.
Truth be told, I could be a little heavier, but I've been keeping my caloric intake down just a bit to help cut a little of the fat off. I'd like to see another 6# by the end of the cycle, with no more BF increase.
So far, I'm up 12 pounds, & in the middle of week 6. I'm really happy with the results so far, I'm definitely stronger, my BF is down, & I've put on some muscle. Downside, is I have a few hemerrhoids that have shown up...& the wife is a little irriated that I won't leave her snatch alone. Serously, like, at least every day, sometimes 2-3 times in a day.
All this gear came from PSL, no complaints here, good stuff!
What is the point of the mid-cycle bloodwork, other than to verify that my gear is good? I've been doing exemestane every day, either 1/2 or a whole of the 20mg tab, & also have the hcg going with the test.
