Got my first testosterone injection, what should I expect?

I got my testosterone injection yesterday at 1000mg but the doc didn't tell me what kind and I forgot to ask. But said I should expect changes within 7-10 days and said it will make my libido go crazy and to be careful of not sleeping with the first girl that moves lol.

I was wondering he says this injection is meant to last for 6-8 weeks, do you guys know which brand it could be?

He injected in my glute which was pretty painless just feel a bit achy in that area. Is there any early signs I can look out for to know it's working? And what if it doesn't work?

If it was 1000mg and it is designed to last 6-8 weeks, I would have to assume that it is NEBIDO which is Testosterone Undecanoate.

To my knowledge this is not FDA approved as a treatment for Low T so I am also assuming that you don't live in the USA.

I bloody hope so. The Doc did actually say I could get violent on his stuff

Heard good things about nebido even though it's not FDA approved, very excited if that's what I got

i also went to the doc today. he gave me a prescription for test cyp. even though i asked for a shot every week, he says 1 shot will last me 6 weeks.

lol, never thought about him putting it in my ass, but i get my shot tomorrow

Sorry man it was private. The doc said because my levels were within normal range and that I am young then it would be very unlikely to be treated on the NHS. And he's right because my GP didn't even want to entertain the idea of even referring me to an Endocrinologist once he saw my results.

Would you be willing to travel to London? If you were you could definitely get it done here, with hardly much waiting around.

Your doctor is an idiot. Ask him what the 1/2 life is for Test C and to explain how that's good for 6 weeks.

Oh hey i remember you posting on my thread a few days back. I live in Leeds and saw an endo today.. he was quick to shoot down any thoughts i had of getting some kind of therapy and just seemed to want to get rid of me ASAP(!) even tho my high estrogen is literally 1 unit in range (149 out of a <=150 range)

Ive got my family behind me and im willing to go private if thats whats needed, even if i had to travel to London. Whats the full name of the clinic you go to and how much are they charging you for treatment?

Cheers for any replies mate as this really gives me hope - hearing this from someone getting sorted out in the UK.

Dont even let him give you that shot! He is going to screw you up horribly! Every 2 weeks is a hormone rollercoaster.. 6 weeks??? I have never heard that one.. Don't do it! Find another doctor for your own sake

How did you get the doc to give you a shot of test I fot some test propionate 100 i've been trying to find out where I can order it but if you work out hard you should see a change in your size

I'm sorry to hear your endo is unwilling to treat you and looks as if your testosterone is worst than mine

The clinic I go to is regency clinic regencyclinic.co.uk/. Only thing is it's very expensive but it;s the cheapest one I could find as I did shop around and there were clinics/hospitals who wanted to charge ridiculous rates just for consultations.

One place wanted to charge me 500 pounds just for consultation and then 200 for every additional appointment not including treatment. Hopefully your blood tests are recent because mine cost 700 and then 350 for the shots. One clinic just told me outright that they're unwilling to treat person under 50 years of age.

But I guarantee you without that you will get treated with Dr Hend at regency clinic. He has no problem treating young patients and apparently has over 20 years experience with t therapy.

Oh does anyone here have any experience with Nebido? Is it normal not to feel anything at all after 2 days or do I have to be more patient?

Thanks for the reply, How much did the Regency Clinic charge for an initial consultation? and you say they charged 350 for the shots, was this 350 for the big shot of nebido that lasts 6-8 weeks? looks like im gonna have to get help from family to pay for this.
