Got my Test levels checked; too low?

Hello everybody,

I recently went to an endocrinologist to get my testestorone levels checked. I just got my test results back and have question concerning my amount of testestorone.

First of my stats are:
-23 years old, male, lifting for 3 years
-Weight of ~77 Kilos (169lbm) @ ~ 9% BF, Height 181 cm (~6,0'')
-good nutrition and enough sleep
-never did steroids

For some time I have been suspecting my testestorone levels are too low. Even though I put very hard work into my training and nutrition I am unsatisfied with my training results. Furthermore I show some signs such as bad sleep, no real beard growth.

So after I got checked my results are the following: 348 ng/dl for tesosterone;
free testosterone did not get checked unfortunatly.

The doctor said these test levels were normal, but after doing some research on the internet I am not so sure anymore, since some sources list the average testosterone of mid twenties should be around 650ng/dl.

So my questions: Are my test levels really normal? Should I just accept the fact that my doctor said these levels are within the normal range or should I try to do something about it (i.e. visit more endocrinolgists, get more opinions).

I would greatly appreciate input from guys who know stuff about hormones, I know there are plenty of people here on this board!

Thanks guys

Yes you are correct. Your test levels are low. At your age you should be at the higher side of normal range (600+) while yours barely qualify in the normal range.
