gross amount of food intake

guys I'm just grasping a little with that strength event coming up. there are some big dudes there usually, though it's not a huge event, but usually 20 competitors. lot of them are big and strong, but they're shorter, stalkier, with somewhat of a gut, not all though.
I would like to be the guy without the gut, I'm strong as fuck right now, but would like to be the guy the people keep looking at if you know what I mean?.....lol this is the biggest I've gone in at. there was a big red headed fucking school teacher, juiced right to the nuts the last highland games events I was in, but think he may have retired after last year. he was about 6'3, I would guess 280, and cleaned up on pretty much everything. I thought I might be able to give him a run this year, but rumor has it, he isn't coming.
bottomlin is, I wanna go in at 260 or a little better, and at least look the best and strongest.....lol
the other comps started calling me crixxus, and I didnt know what they were talking about. well apparently I look like this dude on the Spartacus series with that name, just a lot bigger. I still dont know who the fuck crixxus is, but they say if you get a nickname, that means people like you...lol
my wife calls me asshole, is that good or bad?....lol

seems like ur relying too much on shakes already... for me I won't go more than 2 shakes per day and that's only if there's a time issue. Usually the only time I take a shake is in the morning as soon as I wake up or after my 45min walk with the dog... I find ground beef to be the easiest/most convenient to make into meals and eat 2-3 times per day. I eat chicken too, but it just doesn't give me the muscle fullness of redmeat.

in short... don't rely on the market and hype of shakes, u'd be surprised how little pros use that stuff at all even with it being free. Ur much better off to make ur own. From time to time just add a scoop or two of protein powder, 500ml milk, some fruit and some ice cubes (this is my daily morning one). Oatmeal is great for cals too, big bowl of it cooked with some brown sugar and milk = good stuff.

keep to what ur doing and gaing the weight over time, not a race... nearly 260 at 6' is impressive already bro, keep it up ;)

I've been told this before. "one shake at most a day, the rest of your intake should be food! your tub should just about expire by the time you get through it!" great info!

i hate weight gainers, dont use them anymore. they always upset my stomach.

i make my own

take a snickers or any kind of candy bar(at room temp) you like and mix it with 20 ounces whole milk. add half a cup of cooked oatmeal with half a cup of peanut butter(i like chunky). blend well, it will be the best gainer shake you have. you can also add fresh or frozen fruit from a bag

i can put these down with ease compared to premixed crap loaded with sugars

is 100 mcgs 1ml or 1mg? RUI has ghrp-6 at 5mg per vial. if 100mcg is 1 mg which i believe it is, that would mean one of these 35 dollar vials would only last roughly 2 days? i'd rather just force the food down my throat. there's got to be other things out there that make you want to eat. i remember my mom taking some stuff called remeron i believe? i'll have to ask her, but apparently one of the sides was it made you hungry as hell. i believe it's perscription only though. shouldn't be too hard to get though seeing as how it's not a narcotic.

na 5mg lasts at least a month 3 x a day.

just curious, I know real food is better but why are so many people down on shakes? I find them quite useful, usually only in a time crunch, but I take one in the morning with frozen fruit, whey isolate, oatmeal, frozen yogurt for the extra cals, and egg whites, along with two whole eggs.
