Gynocomastia surgery? Do they test hormone levels?

I have gyno and going to the doctors this week. I was wondering if they are going to take my hormone levels and see my testosterone is raised and me E/T is off due to my current test e cycle?

The doctor might well ask you about past and current steroid use. No idea how he will react to the info or being lied to.

I want to say no way in hell is he going to need or want to see an epitest ratio to conclude that you're juicing.

Yeah I know but my gyno honestly isn't from AAS. I was on risperdal when I was a child and had it ever since it's it's pretty bad. It's gotten less noticeable since I filled out and everything but it's still a bad case and isn't steroid related. I didn't know why it was so bad until recently I seen commericails about risperdal causing gyno. So I'm just wondering if I'll need blood work/piss work that determines my abnormal test levels or E/T ratio

How can anyone definitively tell you what your doctor is going to do?

I will go out on a limb and say he's not going to test your epitestosterone level.

There should be a general procedure. Just like if u have a fever they take your temp

Start off w the risperdol thing. Argue that....insurance companies, mie consider gyno surgery cosmetic and will find anyway to not pay..bastards. I m sure if your jacked he ll ask bout gear....and I think bw is pre surgical standard o p . If he s cool ...he ll write it up..

Are you insured ?

Yeah I'm insured but I don't think it will cost anything since it was from risperdal and that Lawsuite is pretty popular right now and I filed for it. But u think blood work is standard? Do u know which ones. Maybe just estrogen and prolactin ?

The following link lists common pre-surgery blood work. Nothing about hormones; mostly CBC, liver function etc.

Mostly, they want to know if you're going to clot or bleed and if you're going to clear the anasthetics at a normal rate.
