when did size become so important, i was just reading the responses to how big are your arms and some people just seem to have a poor self image. i remember lifting years ago when it wasn't as popular and noone cared how big you were what mattered is what weight you put up.. i went to a pretty big gym and not one person did roids, now i get high school and college kids at my gym and they only care about what cycles they;ve done what theyre gonna do and how big they are.. what happened to the good old days when creatine was considered cheating and numbers mattered? is there any1 out there that is clean and happy with their size or is every person that lifts insecure and chemically dependent?

Well said, the journey is far more interesting than the arrival point. I for one enjoy training and having incremental accomplishments, in this sport you mainly compete with yourself. Work ethic-in the gym and in the dining room is where the real rewards come from.

it's all about the numbers for me. I just don't pay attention to size, except that i keep having to tighten my belts more and get smaller shirts.
The only thing I take is protein, I tried creatine but didn't find it helped much so I decided to save my money.
This sport is all about competing with myself and trying to out do myself everyweek.
