HCG only TRT protocol vs. exogenous testosterone TRT

I just looked up my numbers 3 year ago:

TT total: 564 ng/dL
TT free: 85.7 pg/mL
TSH : 1.06 uIU/mL

It may look almost perfect for my age, but i did not feel well, sleepy and tired all the time.

Sleepy and tired all the time but a sleep disorder never crossed your mind? Simply because you are not obese?

Is that per week in a single injection?
What are results from this protocol before increase and after? What your natural TT level was initially, what you got with 1500IU and what you expect with 300IU? In what time period? Would you please elaborate...

I started with TT around 467.

After the first four weeks at 1500ius, my T dropped from something like 467 to 367. I just started 2500 per week and the plan is to run this for 4 weeks. 1 week has been completed. There's room to increase this to 3000ius if needed for a period of time. I really haven't noticed much up to this point. Injections are split up on Monday and Thursday.

The next phase is clomid and nolvadex.

Have you ever used steroids in the past?
Your levels are not bad. Work on them with lifestyle changes like Megatron28 said.

No I have not. But a year ago i was for about 6 months on 200 mg of test cyp a week (after which I did a restart). This puts my TT in around 1000 ng/dL and life is much better at this level that at 500 ng/dL.

So it looks like it is not working for you so far. Correct?
For how much longer you plan to run this protocol?

I guess it is a human nature to think this or that is always with somebody else, not me...
I will talk about sleep disorder study to physician in next physical checkup.
thanks for a piece of mind.

You can be slender and have sleep apnea. It usually gets worse the more "obese"one is.
TRT aggravates it.

This dosage will continue for four weeks. I'm in week two. Then on to clomid and nolvadex

For how long with clomid and novadex and what after? I mean what you try to achieve with this protocol? Long term short term? I'm researching HCG only TRT options, that is the reason i'm asking all these questions...

It's a restart program so the goal is to get the system going on its own. I believe the clomid and nolvadex will be run for four weeks.

Unfortunately Doctors and other well meaning people do not understand how you can feel so poorly at around 500 TT. I hope this helps, but others in this forum, including myself do not feel well at lower levels like 500. In fact, I felt totally crappy at 860. I figure that some of us were probably living with naturally high TT when we were younger and did not know it. Now when we ran out of T, our bodies still want to have high TT again to feel normal. Think about it - if say hypothetically 2% of young men have low T, then why would 2% of young men not have high T? Just my theory, but more importantly, you may just be one of those people that need higher level of T to feel good for some reason. I don't have the knowledge to figure out how high you can get your T with HCG only options and other 'chemicals' (not being critical). But if you are unfortunate to need high levels of TT, I would guess (just a guess) that you are going to need TRT to get you there. So don't turn your back completely on TRT :-), research TRT as well as HCG only. I hope your end result will be a happy and well hrt2012.

Half....
No offense man, but if you dont feel well at 860 then Test is not your problem.
Where was your SHBG before starting TRT?
How old are you Half?
What makes you figure you were above 860 T when younger?
Cause you felt better younger?

I'd also estimate that there are way more than 2% of "young men" that are hypogonadal.

Holy crap you have a lot of questions. :-) Just wait a second while I get that bright light in my face..., Aaah that's better. Now:
No offense taken
Well, I'm way over 860 and I finally feel like TRT is working. So odds are its the T. Remember, we are all different.
SHBG - Who knows! My doc is a beginner
Age - I'm really old. Can you post some pics of your mother?? :-)
High T when I was just a young fella? Just a theory and although I did not stay at that well known hotel last night I used to be brilliant (seriously)
When I was young I only had one thing on my mind and I was truly dedicated to that one thing.

BTW There is a little humour mixed in this and no way is an attempt to be a smartass. (see...., the T is working!)

I knew when I wrote this, there would be a grilling, lol. I wrote "hypothetically 2%", but yes I agree with you it's got to be way over 2%. I just picked a number at random. Now can we agree that if there is a certain amount of young people with low T, there are also a certain amount of young people with high T levels?? And if so ...

Half,
First, thanks for you kinds word.
I had exactly the same thoughts what you wrote here, some people just need higher T level to feel well.
HCG only treatment is a different form of TRT. I will try to find that article about HCG only TRT I was reading and post a link here.
