have one or 2 alcholic drinks a day but no more , eat lots of fibre cut out the trans fats, which i hope you have done anyway. cranberry juice , omega -3's and if you can get a script for niacin that drug will be very effective in raising hdl. your levels are not good bro which you know... u need to raise them to a min of 40

niacin, cholestyramine, and gemfibrozil taken together are very effective of doing so. although i do not know you med history, talk to your fam. doc and tell him/her everything your taking, remember its ok talk about your cycle. doc's stick to confidentiality

No, its not ok to talk about your cycle. Theres a difference between confidentiality and keeping medical records. If you tell them youre taking gear it could end up on your chart, next thing you know the insurance company gets a hold of it and boom, they drop you. This has actually happened to a few people here.

Dont tell your doc unless hes a friend of yours and you trust him 1000%.

I suppose i need to consider country of origin when giving advice, in canada you can tell your doc. anything and were under obligation to keep privacy confidential unless its in regards to medical help and/or among professionals for the best of the PT's health.

I do understand the american health system and i would agree with that statement in regards to insurance. although if you request to keep it private chances are it could be held in confidence.

I do apologize for not considering home origin upon advice, and i would chart in regards to info regarding cycle, so that would not workout in favor for the PT. in canada no insurance is needed and there is very limited access to a PT's chart and med record. if an outside source needs charting of any matter the PT must sign a release, when PT's see their own charts they also need to sign documentation stating they have reviewed doctor's notes/orders.

.

OR.......if you are applying for Life Insurance, in which case you'd be fucked, and I speak from experience and do reside in Canada.

yes, you would on your own discretion, those are things you need to personally consider before giving that information out. although myself would talk to the doc in confidence, were not your enemies, if you get along with your doc and feel comfortable, feel free. in all and all it's better your doc finds things out now for your health rather then when he or she needs to because a serious problem has occured.

but either way its personal choice to disclose information.

I do think the topic has changed a bit lol
let me know how you do with your levels
