Hello, I am starting TRT today and have questions

I am a 50 year old man, recently diagnosed with low T (254) to be exact. The doctor is recommending up to 200 mg per week of Testosterone Cypionate (IM), along with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), Arazanole, and Clomid, taken at different times during the 14 week protocol.

He says that I can start out at a lower dose than the 200mg if I want, but believes that is the proper amount.

I have read that the typical starting dose is 100 mg per week, so this would be double that. I would like to draw on the experience of this group to help me make my mind up on what to do.

Will taking 200 mg per week cause any problems? Is it safe?

Will taking the higher dose improve my results or speed them up?

I am planning on breaking up the shots and do half the amount twice each week, so that may make a difference in your answer.

Thank you

You might consider starting with just 100 mg per week for the first month and see how you feel. It will probably take around that long to get built up in your system. If you don't like the results you are getting then up the dosage. I would also get blood work done at the 4-6 week mark to see where everything is. Just my .02 - I am sure others will chime in as well.
