Help Interpret My BloodWork

I'm a 48 yr old male, 172 lbs 5-9 who has been dealing with fatigue , loss of libido, irritability, etc.... My radar went up on possible low T. I went for a consult with a urologist (haven't done the follow up yet) and just got my bloodwork back. SO here are the readings:

tot Test 455 ref 250-1100 ng/dl
Free Test 56 ref 35-155 pg/ml
LH 2.1 ref 1.5-9.3 miu/ml
FSH 5.9 ref 1.6-8.0 miu/ml
Prolactin 5.7 ref 2.0-18 ng/ml

SHBG 26 ref 10-50 nmol/L

Test Free,bioavailable
Test Free 72.2 ref 46-224 pg/mL
Test Bioavaiable 154.7 ref 110-575 ng/dL

Can anyone give me an interpretation? I'd appreciate any help.

most doctors would say that your within normal range with those numbers. You would have to really sell to them your low T symptoms.

Did they check estrogens?

they did nnot check estrogens.

This is my 3rd T test. My initial screening came back at 308. My 2nd test at 411. Whether or not they put me on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is not important to me. I just want to find the answer to what is wrong with me and do the best thing for my overall health and wellbeing.

With your age and the labs you posted its probably not low t causing the symtoms as its pretty good for 50 years old (all the numbers look decent actually). Yes an anti aging clinic would probably script you but I'd want to figure out the real cause of the symtoms first.

Did the do a full blood panel? Lipids? Estrogen? Vitamins? Organ function?? Lots more testing needed.

Lipid panel came back great. Did the full blood but not estrogens.

What was test levels a few years ago?

Get e2 checked.

So organ functions were normal? That's great. I get super lethargic when my liver or kidney fuctions are high.

SO I had my follow up with the urologist and I basically have zero confidence in him at this point. He told me everything was normal, except that I was positive for epstein barr which means I might have chronic fatigue.

He then had me lift up my shirt and said that I look to have gynecomastia. I then told him how I did some research and found that there can be an issue with high estrogen levels in men, and talked him into doing an estrogen level check which he did not even know what to write on the script for. He also wanted me to go for a mammogram even though he did no manual exam.

I'm upset because he should have checked my estrogen levels right from the start but did not think to do it.... and a mammogram? I researched this online and found it to be highly questionable at this point.

Does anyone know what the script for estrogen bloodwork should look like? I have zero confidence in this guy.
