Hey guys I went in for a stress test today and when I got there they told me the results of my echo they did 3 weeks ago... turns out I have an enlarged left ventricle but only slightly enlarged... I'm .1 over the maximum normal. This freaked me out a bit, now mind you the echo was done before starting TRT (i'm only in week 3) so theres no chance the test did it.
ultimately this me to my question - should I come off trt? I am starting to feel better and finding this out was just a huge kick to me. I know there is a chance TRT can cause LVH so I wonder if TRT will worsen my condition?
I have an appt next week to see the cardiologist and see what he says, the NP who did my stress test said it my LVH shouldn't be a huge issue and it might just be from exercising and being a big guy. But should I stop my shots now until I talk to the cardio and get his input?
Have any of you continued TRT well having LVH?
Maybe the anabolic doc will see this thread and give me some insight.
No I need your input guys... stop now until I see cardio or what? Does anyone know if you already have LVH and use TRT can the therapy make the ventricle walls thicken even more?
