If there is, then we have yet to discover it.

I'm also on the Retin-A and the minocycline (100mg/day ... not sure if the doc will extend my prescription or not). It is the worst on my shoulders. I tried to discontinue the minocycline and all hell broke loose on my skin, so I've resumed it.

I'm thinking about using Accutane (isotretinoin) again. Last Accutane cycle (which was legal, btw) was over ten years ago. It was hell, but my acne got 90% better.

i dunna if there is a way to stop it completely, but alot of my friends that take stuff on the football team and baseball team go tanning a couple times a week on cycle, your skin becomes to oily because of what u take, and tanning dries out ur skin, so that might help

fyi-getting accutane is a HUGE pain in the ass..u have to enter ur name in some national iplege database-fill ur script within 7 days...pray all ur info is right...etc..ur dr. has to enter info in the database too..some derms dont even bother with it..

Well, I'm thinking of going skipping all that shit, especially since my health insurance specifically excludes isotretinoin.

drinking loads of water
tanning

clean pillow case ever other day! very important!!

if you get it on your back, then sleep with a clean shirt, and dont! dont scrub your skin

should do the job

i have never heard too much about vit b-5

some say it works some say it dont

Vitamine B5 should work what I gathered, but when you stop they come back.

Accutane is the stuff that WILL work before, during and after cycle.

this is just me, but i use a face wash and moisturizor twice a day, first wash is just standeard stuff, nightly 1 is proactiv

but i find that if i do my shots every 3 days instead of the mon/thurs routine i hardly break out at all i.e mon/thur/sun/wed

but thats just me

low volatility in your test levels will keep the sides down so keep those blood levels stable.

I use dial antibacterial hand soap for body wash, the dermatologist told me that it works great and it does. plus its cheap. I'd use that acne cream at night but screw accutane unless you have a pizza back. My friend had the nastiest acne i've ever seen hands down and the accutane cleared him up but....he couldn't eat dairy, had really sore joints (barely could work out), and he have to steer away from alcohol because of its liver toxicity

I've tried a lot of things since I was about 17. I'm 24 now, still have acne. I'm tired of it. It's really depressing and I want it gone! I guess my last resort is trying B5 Pantothenic Acid, until they find something that will actually work. I just ordered some two minutes ago from bodybuilding.com
From what i've seen about taking it, i'm going to go ahead and take it like this:
5mg a day/first week
10mg a day/second week
hopefully it will be somewhat clear at this stage, then I can go ahead and just keep a steady dose of 3-5mg a day for good. Unless of course it flares up again, then back up to 10mg a day.
Any suggestions, or does that look ok?
Thanks.
