Hernias in the middle ofmy first cycle... HELP!!!

Okay, here's the deal. I'm 3 and 1/2 weeks into my Test Enth cycle. 500mg weekly split up into two 250mg days. I'm 24, 6'6" and roughly 220lbs.

I went to the hospital this past Sunday and got a ultrasound on my testicals with the end results being the wonderful news that I have bilateral inguinal hernias! I was wondering where the extra bulge in my pants was coming from...

The doctors told me they wont perform surgery yet, as the hernias are not bad enough to do so. That brings me to my question.
I'm not looking to screw things up on my FIRST cycle. So, I figured I'll continue lifting (very, very carefully) while avoiding certain exercises, such as dead lifts and squats. I can do the majority of exercises that don't put strain on my lower stomach and just use a bit lighter weight.

Do any of you have any suggestions as to what I should do? I know they can do a keyhole surgery and I can be back to lifting within a week as there is hardly any recovery time at all. But I've also had people tell me I might need to change my Test intake as well. I've just been told so many different things with this I don't know what to do at this point.

Should I continue to lift carefully, wait till post cycle therapy (pct) and get my surgery done? Should I stop lifting, begin post cycle therapy (pct) and get surgery done later? I don't want to stop lifting mid-first cycle by any means. Is there anything else I can do to avoid further injuring myself while lifting? And please don't just tell me I'm stupid and should stop lifting all together. Cause I'm far too stubborn for that and cannot give up the one thing I love doing.

Please, share your knowledge! Thanks guys.

damn sounds like a tough one honestly dont know what to tell you but goodluck and hope someone else has some input for you

this is just my opinion, but I would go on post cycle therapy (pct), and get surgry to fix it. Save the gear for when your healthy dude! Your health should be biggest consern you have not your cycle.

My question is this. You said they won't perform surgery then asked if you should stop and have the surgery done. Will they do it now or not? That is the big factor here.

I agree your health is the most important, but if they won't do surgery anyway, why not finish the cycle? The only problem with that is you could make things worse.

Tough Catch 22 if they won't do the surgery now.

Yeah, see.. this is where I'm kind of confused too. The people in the hospital told me they wont do my surgery right now. All they did was give me my ultrasound, some paperwork and sent me on my way. They said they can't do it until it gets worse. I know people that have hernias for years and never get them fixed surgically. Some of the vets at the gym I go to recommend two different surgeons to me, and they all acted like as long as you have a hernia you can get it fixed. So, I figured I could talk to a surgeon and probably get it done now? I will always try and put my health first. I just hate to finish this cycle without being able to do all the exercises and giving it my all. I'll probably just continue lifting the best I can, and learn as much as I can about this hernia and surgery and go from there. Hopefully I can finish my cycle and still get some pretty good gains.

Anyone else have any other opinions/information they could share with me?

what country are you in? If you have insurance and/or money you can certainly get it fixed if you are in the U.S. Obviously it is giving you trouble if you had to go get it looked at.

if you are going to continue the cycle and lifting get a hernia ball belt. this will help with any added pressure in the groin area. but if you can get it fixed get it done. some docs wont do the surgery if you have to much BF so that could be the reason.

Yes, it's definitely giving me trouble. It's not a good feeling what so ever. I don't have insurance as I'm unemployed right now. I do have some money.. but not enough for a surgery. I don't know what I'm going to do.

sounds like they wouldn't do the surgery cause you don't have insurance. And they sent you on your way, basterds! Just be carefull lifting man, good luck. Maybe if you can get on medicaid they will pay for it.
