Hey guys, I posted on here a few months back and was very unfamiliar and dumb about a lot of things. Basically around 10 months ago I injured my Bicep doing concentration curls, I felt a sharp pain and dropped the weight. However there was no bruising or swelling. Up until this day, I have had trouble going more then 10 pounds on my right bicep. However, I am able to work out every other muscle without pain except for a couple back movements. My bicep does not bother me throughout the day, it only bothers me when doing direct bicep work. I saw a specialist and he said it might be partially torn. He wanted me to get an MRI, but unforunately, I do not have the insurance right now to get it and feel it would too much money to get something I probably already know. I know if it is partially torn/whatever it is srgery is an option. However I am turning 21 in a month and really want to stay away from surgery. I feel that if I am able to workack out every other muscle fine and still do light bicep work with minimal pain, why stay off the weights for 6 months? Also surgery has a lot of drawbacks from what I read. I also think it might be torn at the elbow. I really just want this damn injury to heal already, it has been driving me nuts. Again I really would like to avoid surgery. I am able to workout around it, however, I really want to be able to work out my biceps again and have no pain instead of slight pain on some workouts. I also am scared to do pullups/dips/ some types of exercises. I have been researching HGH and have read that if taken correctly could be safe and also work wonders on an injured area. I have about $750 dollars to spend. I just want to know your expert opinions on if HGH would be a safe rout and what types of HGH would be the safest and most affordable if any at all. And also whre I would be able to get it legit. Also let me add I would love to tryout for my football team next spring and want to heal so I can be healthy and play my best ball. If I cant play football I would love to compete in bodybuilding later on but it is hard if I cant directly workout biceps that hard. Thank you guys it means a lot for any opinions.
