high rep deads

HI!

Am on a light/heavy routine and just wanted to ask if you would do deads in the 12-15 rep range as well (two sets to failure out of three) or do hypers instead on light day.

So I would only be DLing once every two weeks but then with low reps (4-6) for 3 sets last two one taken to failure.

So heavy would be (6-4 reps):

Weighted chins
DL
Db rows
Reverse grip pulldowns to chest

Light day (15-12 reps):

Chins bodyweight
BB rows
Seated rows
Pullovers
Hypers

Any input as always really appreciated!

I see no point in doing deads at high reps, for me anyway..I Never go above 10 reps when warming up either..Form goes to shit when trying to bang out reps not worth the risk..Hypers are a good assist to DL but they can never replace them..

Thanks blacbeard! That's what I thought...it's just hard to get strict form on Dls when doing more than 6 reps. So I'll stick to hypers and my above posted light routine.

I dont like high rep deads, too cardio intensive anyway. If you want them to hit the back, then hit it hard IMO.
