how do you determine whats heavy weight to lift on a bulking cycle

How do you know whats heavy enough to lift on a bulking cycle? If you cant lift it more than 5-6 times? whats heavy for one person is light for another person. :confused: :confused:

As you said, heavy is a pretty subjective thing. What is heavy for one, is light for another.

Exactly what u said. I do 4 sets 5-6 reps each excercise. and depending on which muscle im working i do 3-4 excersizes each muscle.
Mon: chest and shoulders
Tue: EAT! and rest
wed: back
thurs: Bis and tris
Fri: legs
sat: eat and rest
sun: eat and rest

Make sure your eating enough calories and protein.
Give it a little time and you should grow :D
Dont be discouraged if other people are stronger than you at first. It takes time and hard work to get big.

Needsize's 5x5 routine, as has been mentioned, is GREAT for increasing strength and mass. It works slow and fast twitch fibers. It requires writing down everything week by week, and may take a week or two to find the right weigt for your compound exercises, but it's well worth it.
