How do you prep your meals?

Looking to become more organized in my meal preparing. I read a great thread by Cashout as to what he purchases for two weeks worth of meals which wasn't all that much different from mine.
Does anyone prep a day of meals in advance and store them in tupperware? I was planning on going that route but I wanted to get some feedback as to how much of a pain that may be. Any other ideas?

I do all my meals a week at a time.

I bake 14 pounds of chicken at once and put it in two 1 gallon ziplock freeze bags. Stick them in the fridge.

I cook about 6 cups of uncooked rice in a huge crock pot. Put that in 3 1 gallon ziplock bags and into fridge.

The only meal I cook on a daily basis is my egg whites and oatmeal - I do that every morning for breakfast.

Other then that. I do all my cooking for the week every Sunday morning.

Then, during the week, all I do is reheat and eat.

I spend no more than 15 minutes in the kitchen every day.

Sunday morning, I spend about 45 minutes.

Amen I'm a Sunday Prepper also! I as well cook for the week!

Great info. I guess I just need to quit being lazy and do a better job of prepping. I normally cook up couscous, brown rice or potatoes in advance although only for a few days. I like nonfat cottage cheese and tilapia mixed in as protein sources as well. or even lean beef.

Sunday is my time to prep for the week. I have more tupperware than I know what to do with at times.

Cook it up, measure it into servings, place in the tupperware. Ahhhhh.... so easy

Thats like Pussy with out the Juice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blah Or sex with out an orgasm! Eating like this was why I quite the compitition Factor! It was just miserable to me! When you look at a Yam and think Coffee Toffee Crunch cause thats the sweetest thing crossing your lips! Yeah I had enough of that shit! Salt is a food group! lol

I may put my self threw it 1 more time at age 50. But that will be the only time!

Not saying your wrong Cash Look at U who can argue with that! Just saying for me personally Those days are in the past! I will eat well don't question that but I won't ever give up flavor for an extended time again!

Flavor has nothing to do with it. Flavor is for the weak!

Done it for 27 years now. No such thing as "cheat days" or even "cheat meals".

I didn't even eat the cake that was served at my wedding.

Since I won't be cooking tomorrow, here is a pic for you from this afternoon's cooking.

Notice the specific lack of any seasoning...

I cook my chicken and yams sunday night for the week ahead. The turkey and beef I do not cook ahead, i just throw them on the george foreman everyday, its really quick. My rice I also cook daily instead of in advance. Im like cash, i dont use any flavoring or anything. like jay cutler said "i dont eat for taste i eat to build muscle". not exactly how he says it but thats the idea. For my next bulk i may cook all my rice sunday morning though. its 100 times easier to NOT have a cheat meal when your meals are already cooked and ready to eat.

I buy it at Sam's Club - boneless skinless large breasts - whatever brand they have there. Really makes no difference.

I just started making my meals by the week, and what a relief it is as the days go by. 7lbs of steak and 7lbs of chicken all cooked in the oven. Cooled off then weighed and separated into individual containers. I love it!

Exactly, if you can't enjoy life then who cares how the fuck long it lasts... I'd :Puke: trying to eat that much plain chicken, gross.
