How long do packs stay in customs?

My package from china is being inspected by US customs since apr 5. What is the normal time fram that packages stay in customs?

With me, usually 1-2 days but I have had customs hold it at jfk for 5 days. Don't worry yet. I assume you are tracking online? I have a friend who had his held for 2 weeks before.

My boys's package (which he got last week) took about 2 weeks go clear through customs with the war and all that stuff going on, but he got it no problem so just give it some more time...u'll get a letter if it gets seized

it stayed in customs for two weeks? do you know how long it was from shipping to recieving?

depends where you're located. One-three days after passes customs. If it's still trackable online than you should be fine.

It also depends what type of service your source is using....If it's the average mail then don't worry but if it's EMS then I would....EMS has to be delivered within 5 days....

I have never recieved an ems package in under 7 days. I got one last week which took 8 days I think. Things are slow lately.
