I go until I've done everything I need to for the day, but depending how busy the gym is...it's typically between 45 mins and 1:15. I'm doing low volume and one muscle group a day, so it's quick for me.
Depends on the training phase. When I am doing hypertrophic blood volume training I stay as long as necessary to get maximum pump. Strength training is fairly quick. Isometric training can take a long time to do a few excercise's due to longer rest periods.
If your in over an hour and expect to stay for a while more usually you should carb a little to keep the body fueled on glycogen versus muscles.
Hypertrophic I am in 5 days a week Back/chest/Legs/Shoulders/Arms
Strength 4 days a week Back and Tri's/Legs/Chest and Bi's/Shoulders
Isometric 3 days a week Back/Chest/Legs (only compound movements in this phase)
