How long does it take for testosterone enathate to kick in?

So I know testosterone enathate is a long acting ester but how long does it take for its effects to kick in?

I am looking to run my first cycle of it soon and I am wondering how long it will take for me to notice the effects.

As an example for a 12 week cycle, this is just a theory if more experienced users could give a more experienced timeline then that would be appreciated:

Weeks 1 - week 4 of cycle: steady weight 0% of ultimate weight gain.
Weeks 6: Ester begins to kick in 10% of highest weight.
Weeks 8: Feeling the full effects - 30% of Max weight.
Weeks 10: 60% of Max weight.
Weeks 12: 80% of Max weight.
Weeks 14: 2 weeks after last injection, Max weight achieved
Week 18: 95% of Max weight, weight starting to drop.

You're waaayyyy overthinking it. There is no formula to determine weight gain or overall results. 3-5 weeks is when blood levels peak in most people. Everything else is dictated by diet and training. Just train hard, eat a ton and do your best.

Ok thanks for the response as a rough guide though, I have heard it takes 6 weeks to notice an effect from testosterone enathate visually.

If blood levels peak at 3-5 weeks, wouldn't you notice a visual effect before that?

I start to notice increased glycogen retention around week 2. I look and feel fuller. It's just water and glycogen at that point. There's really no point where it just "kicks" and you start to explode. Especially with enanthate. It's very gradual.

it hits its peek per dose in just days, even teste, but it takes weeks to notice much effects AND here is a bit of a build up at start as things level out. so i would say expect to wait about 3ish weeks to start to notice things. but i assure you there is already the ball rolling in week 1, but it takes time to notice.

teste will hit its peek per dose in week one, but it takes time to notice the results, weeks. so its not that its not working from just days into shot, but that it takes time to notice alot of it.

Day one test starts to do its thing, but for you to notice physical changes in strength and weight gains you are looking at 3-4 weeks. I have been on trt for years and notice increased aggression after a couple days which can translate into better work outs, but at that point it's all in the head.

Yeah bro-tato chip. Try to not look in the mirror for 4 weeks straight and then one day you'll be blown away haha

I would say 6 weeks is when major visual changes start to happen, and 8 weeks is when you look in the mirror and say "holly shit I'll be mr Olympia in no time if this keeps up". I notice around the 4 month mark if your on for that long is when the dramatic gains slow down to almost a hault. My recommendation is to just enjoy the experience and don't freak out if gains dont come as quickly as you anticipated.

As you were told you are way, way over thinking this thing. There is no way to calculate the weight gain. If you don't keep your E2 in check you will gain a lot of water. Forget all that you have written. My weight gain is different every cycle. It's the same story but a little different due to what my dosage is and how my diet is and how I monitor my E2.

You seem to not know much about what you are doing if you don't know about water weight and muscle mass and weight. You can blow up like a balloon depending on dosage and diet. What is all the concern about weight anyway.

Please give us some stats, that's vey important when you ask us questions about a cycle. What is your age, ht, wt, how long have you been training. have you been reading or just are you going by Bro-science. What are your goals. BF% etc... Enanthate is not that long. Cypionate is much longer.

Seems like you should go and read up more and I'm not bashing you. Good luck

OH I see some results in 3 wks but the real difference for me is 5 wks.

For me it's 3 to 5 weeks to notice strength gains and physical change to start. But also for me the tell tale sign that i can tell it's starting to work after a couple days is the morning wood!!!! It's up before me.

Beautiful advice, with this info filled in the advice can be more accurate and your results will be better. Thanks! Oldmusclemike!

Would running a prohormone like Epistane the 1st 4 weeks prior to test e be an acceptable way to kick start gains? Or would that be overkill?

You could. I've heard of guys doin it with pro hormones that are banned now. Rather use dbol personally.

dude just dont worry about it. if you've done you're research and you're confident that you know enough to start playing with your hormones, just stick that testosterone in your ass cheeks and smash the weights and dont forget to eat some fucking food. you can take all the steroids in the world but if you're eating like runway model you're just wasting your money brah.

also keep in mind that propionate is the superior testosterone, just like all short ester compounds
