How long until testosterone leaves the body?

I had my testosterone tested back in December because of complete fatigue & exhaustion & it was a total of 175 so was put on 150G trochies, 1 month later the doctor said it was going up fast enough so told me to double up on it & check back in a month. So I go back & now it's at 1500 & he told me to go back down to one trochie & come back in 2 months & now it's up to 1900 & I feel like crap. Fatigue, muscles twitching, vision not right. And he told me to stop taking it all together now & check back in a month. In the 5 months of doing the T therapy I have only had 2 good weeks that I felt great & I am assuming that is due to hitting the right level & then going past it & everything that I had before the therapy is now back. THIS SUCKS!!!!

How long will it take for the testosterone to leave my body?

Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked your estrogen? alot of doctors that dont specialize have no clue that estrogen levels are just as important as t levels. it seems that you have fluctuated from a smaller dose to a much larger dose, and then to no dosage at all. these fluctuations in dosing protocol could have messed you up. I would get a Estradiol Sensitive test done to see where your Estrogen levels are.
I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for the EXACT same reason as you, extreme fatigue with depression and anxiety mixed in. My levels were 218 at the beginning. I do 100mg Test Cypionate every 5 days with hcG and Arimidex in my protocol as well.

Hey brother, what are your levels now that you are on 100mg. every week? I ask this cause the same thing here. Dr. has me on 200 mg. every 2 weeks. Kills me ( up&down effect). Been trying to get me level, but the every 2 week deal? how? Got a visit w/ em first of june. Gonna let em know, this aint working....... As for question from swing22 hard, 8 days is the life span the T will stay. What I've been told. rightly so, the way I feel when going on my ninth day and so on...

I just went in & gave blood again today, I believe that is exactly what they are checking. I don't like to say it but I have been extremely emotional with the fatigue, depression & anxiety.....I never cry but can cry at just about anything now, hehe

I just want the old me back, this has been 6 months of HELL!!!!! I have had only 2 weeks of my old self which I attribute to my testosterone hitting the perfect spot then it was going to high & putting me back into the same place I had been, in HELL

Thanks for your response, sounds like you have been thru this too. It's no fun

My total is 1900 right now, wayyyyy to high! so I am hoping it starts going south again to find that sweet spot. I have a new endocronologist to regulate me now, they thought my thyroid levels were off & they were just a little but they have that in sync now & my testosterone has completely blown up. I am thinking that they should have gotten my thyroid in check first before messing with my testosterone, I think now my testosterone probably started working the way it should have along with supplements it's gone out of control.

The half life depends on the ester u are running test e is 10-14 days. Defiantly néed to check ur estrogen levels. I can't believe that there are so many doctors that don't no the effects of test on ur body. With levels that high I'm sure ur E is going crazy as well!!

My t score was at 696. Mind you, that score was taken on day 5 of my schedule, but immediately before i pinned that day. that means my "trough" is 696, which means my t levels are much higher the few days before. i feel i am at a good spot t level wise, however, i took an Estradiol Sensitive test, and it seems that my estrogen levels are starting to rise a bit. e sensitive score was 44. most experts agree that e levels should be in the 20's (considered the sweet spot). It seems to me that if you can figure out a way to get your t scores in the higher normal range (600-900) and keep your estrogen levels in the 20's, then that is the holy grail. I started taking .50mg Arimidex the day after my cyp shot to help cancel out and hopefully lower my estrogen a bit. Also, trying to eat more cruciferous vegetables like Broccolli, Cauliflower, and Greens. These "DIMS" can help with estrogen as well, from what I have read.

Dang 22, 1900?? crap, I would be killing it in the weight room. lol....Yea sounds like your doc before is about like the one I have now. If they don't specialize in testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) only, then not for sure they really know what or how to get one there... They had me test BW at the highest point while on test cyp. came in at 1100, they almost freaked out and wanted me to lower the dose. I threw a fit. I've got to be there (hitting the gym). Now I hope they would regulate me to stay close to that... Gonna go elsewhere if not. I'm telling you, the whole up/down mess is terrible....... Hope all works out for ya...

I gotcha willnorthwest, I believe I will get them to check out the e levels. They have before, all was well, but w/o being regulated on T, how would those levels be good??? I hit weights on a regular basis and it's VIP that I get regulated. Seen some alright gains with this roller coaster affect, but I could imagine how I would feel when I'm regulated (sweet spot)... Hard to work out on those off weeks.... Yes, I've been eating those greens pretty regular. Can't wait to get those levels checked (e levels)

Dude at 1900 I have no energy to hit any sort of weights, it's the exact opposite effect. Complete fatigue & muscles feel like they want to pop out of my skin...no fun

You're not listening to what people are telling you. Your test is converting into estrogen (aromitisation) and that is what is making you feel shitty. That is what often happens as your test levels get higher. If you stop the aromitisation by taking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) you will feel better. The high Test in itself is not what makes you feel crappy. It is the resulting estrogen. So lower your Test levels or prevent the aromatisation into estrogen.

Thank you for your response, what do I take to keep stop the aromitisation? What's an AI? sorry I am new to this.

if your test levels are at 1900 and you arent using any AI's, then i can just about guarantee that your Estrogen is through the frickin' roof. get an Estradiol Sensitive assay done now, like right now

Thank you all for your responses, I have a call into my Dr. now to get my Estrogen work up as I write this.

make sure it is e2 (estradiol) that they are testing - not just total estrogen. e2 is the concern.

I am pissed, my doctor called me back & said no on the estrogen testing & that it wouldn't change what they want to do for me. She said just let the testosterone run out of your body
& restest in a month. Where I am at you can't get independant blood testing, it has to be by prescription from a doctor. So if I can't get it tested, how long am I looking at feeling like crap? will
the estrogen levels level out as my testosterone leave my body?

Another amazing doc that doesn't recognize the bad sides of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) are from E2. Awesome. Yes, your E2 levels will plummet as the testosterone leaves your body. It will take a good 3-5 weeks for this change to fully occur, but you'll be right back at square one. It sounds like it's time to fire that doctor and find someone that knows their ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to male hormones. If money is not an object, I'd give Increase My T a call, they're the board sponsor here and they have helped many guys fix their hormone issues. Best of all, they know what estradiol is. :p

Also, do a search in this forum for Private MD - Buy Lab Tests Online. it will tell you how to get your own lab tests done (with an order from a dr) and it will recommend which panel to get. It is mentioned in one of the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) stickies too. Good luck!
