how many times.....?

how many times a week do you guys work bis/tris?

MON: back/shoulders

TUE: bis/tris

WED: off

THU: chest

FRI: bis/tris

SAT: legs

SUN: off

I was wondering if 2 days a week for arms is overtraining. How would I know?
 
i think it is.. especially if you are doing chest and back on diff days as arms aswell. then its like they are getting hit 4 x a week ..
 
The best combinations for bis and tris: Chest & Tris, Chest & Bis, Back & bis, Back & tris. Or, I like to mix shoulders and tris so that I can work Traps with back. Example:

Day 1: Chest, Biceps
Day 2: Legs
Day 3: Off
Day 4: Shoulders, Triceps
Day 5: Back, Traps
Day 6: Off
Day 7: Repeat Day 1
 
I figure, that including chest day and back day, both parts of my arms get hit twice per week, with one day being direct work only. That seems to work well for me.
