We all know how important food is to us and how much we eat when trying to bulk up. Just wondering how much you guys spend per week or however often you go shopping. I go shopping every week, spend atleast $50, thats just for me. My pocket arent too deep and i live on my own so i kinda have to eat simple.

Shopping every weekend, usually $150-$180. Family of 3.

There are ways to stretch your buck STANG.....
Look for meat markets that sell in bulk. You can find really good bargins for a TON of meat.

Dont know if they have a "Gordons Food Service" anywhere near you, but you can buy
(6) 1/2 gallon cartons of liquid egg whites for $37 from them. Trust me they last a while to.

I spend 300-400 a month because I buy off of local farms and organically which costs a bit more, but it is worth it to me to know where my food is coming from.

Wow its just me and my girl and I spend 100-150 a week, 400-600 dollar a month and I go to BJ's and buy bulk meats and what not.

Ive been shopping at a wal mart supercenter near me, but yea i have to look more into buying bulk foods, because ive been a bit conservative lately compared to how much i should be eating.

Go buy 40lbs of chicken see what it cost you at walmart, then go to a meat market and see how much that same 40 lbs cost you, lol. obviosly prices will vary due to sales and what not, but you will save a lot of money in the long haul.

LOL cant say i need 40lbs of chicken, but i know what ya mean. I usually buy the perdue packs of boneless skinless breasts, theyre about $5/2lb pack.

lol, only reason I said 40lb is cause thats how it used to come packaged for me. 40lb cases. This place was more of a Veggie market with their butcher in the back. Young guys always thought I was B.S. ing them when I told them "yes the whole case" Back then I was limited on funds so I had to buy things cheap. That used to cost me like $50 but would feed me for a while.

so you can see..........
you pay $100 for 40lb of chicken over time buying when you need it.
I paid little over $50 for 40lb's at the time. little more now, but all I had to do was freeze it.
You can see how much this adds up .
Beef is the same way. ALOT of markup outside of the processing plants.
