How much HIIT while on a cycle ?

So how much HIIT is too much while on a cycle ?

I did Crossfit for a good amount of time and learned the overall concept of HIIT.

Aside from the obvious caloric drain and compensating for it.. what are peoples opinion ?

Thinking of doing it a couple of times a week aside from my regular powerlifting while on my cycle.
 
I think "too much" depends on your personal preference. I would not go above 30 minutes of regular cardio. Just enough to keep BP down on cycle. You could also do some conditioning work after your lifting like prowler and sled drags
