how much sleep do pro bodybuilders get per day?

i was readying cutler wakes up throughout the night to take protein and then the have to wake up early to do cardio, that sucks lol
 
Its completely individual, everyone is different (body builders are all different). some guys 5 hours, some guys 10 . Tiger Woods only slept about 3 hours per night and was able to play golf at the highest level on that little of sleep

3 hours sleep per night, I call bullshit or amphetamines or bullshit :)

Then again, Tiger Woods is a stick hitting a put put ball with a stick so, no need for growth there and was clearly too busy fucking other chicks to care so :P
 
As long as REM sleep goes into effect enough then I say good to go, I have heard of alot of active money movers who only get a few hours per day and rock and roll.But it would suck to get out of warm bed to drink some protein shakes etc.

well when he was only getting 3 hours of sleep a night cause he was too busy getting a piece of ass .. thats when he was the best golfer in the world . fucking going to 'sex addiction' counseling ruined his ass .. he started sleeping more, and stopped tapping ass , and then became a shitty golfer. go figure

Lesson learned then. Sleep 3 hrs/night, tap lots of ass, play golf, profit. I need to try that
 
OP there is no general answer to your Q's. As said we are al different and we also go through some personal sleep needs cycles.

Sometimes people take short naps during the day so it's a guess at best. UNLESS you tap into their world and do some survey for an average across the board with the pro's. Sleep requirements also change with age so with that how old is this newbie pro and how old is the vet pro?

Yeah it is individualistic, although to a point and we are all human. Let's be serious, 3hrs sleep a night is possible hell yeah, but your cognitive ability and overall health won't be able to agree with you and it will catch up to you. Like I said, Adderall/amphetamines are easy to get, they work and are effective.

And by effective I mean easily abusable because it's like borrowing time and health from your future for short-term benefit. I won't even get into the insane addiction potential because of it. It's common!

There is no substitute for a real wholesome quality sleep! Sure a night of less than desired qaulity and qaunity make suck but it won't kill you, but I think finding yourself a consistent and normal sleeping pattern of resting at the same time and waking at the same time is ideal. See for yourself.

Enhancing sleep, well there are ways to do that! HGH, Test to some degree, GHRP-6 before bedtime cassein and yoghurt! That's the real question.
 
its rumored that lots of pro bodybuilders use amphetamines such as Adderall for contest prep for various reasons.

first of all those drugs make you barely think about sex or food, and it i'm sure during prep they are on way more gear than in the off season. for me, lots of gear makes me hungry and horny. less food = faster fat loss obviously, and IMO less sexual thoughts helps them stay way more focused in general on top of the focus given from the adderall. apparently most athletes, boxers especially, abstain from sex/masturbation during their whole prep leading up to the big night. makes sense.

when i take adderall or ritalin though i don't even feel like working out. my heart is already beating faster when i take that shit, and quite frankly, i dont know about you guys but i'm not really in the mood for a heart attack lol.

but then again i take quite a bit of those drugs when i do take it (when studying for exams) so maybe in moderate doses it's fine.

but anyway, jay cutler says he only gets 4-5 hours of sleep each night and i get why. before i started taking HGH at only 3iu a day (pharma grade), i used to need 7 hours of sleep to function properly during the day and not be tired and have a good workout. now on growth for the past 7 weeks and i'm totally refreshed after 5 hours. i could even do 4 hours but that's pushing it.
 
Amphetamines (Adderal, Dexamp capsules typical in the US) in my eyes do not have a place in bodybuilding. Essentially they release stored noradrenaline/dopamine and cortisol activating the fight or flight response. I will admit you will get a godly pump and focus on top of the natural rush you get during training however expect blood pressure to be fucking jacked and that you will put yourself at further increased risk for stroke/cardiac issues.

Long run, don't use amps + bodybuilding together, please...
