HCTZ is a very mild diuretic and has been proven safe to take for long periods of time. I'd only use it if I had significant water retention during a cycle. Personally, I use it whenever I take test b/c I retain a ton of water in my midsection with test. Plus, it has the added effect of keeping BP down which is raised significantly while on Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) for some people.Sliding_Filament said:HCTZ? Diuretics even on training days? Interesting. What are the things to look out for?

Actually I read that just recentely Diuretics and Beta Blockers have been linked to diabetes. ACE inhibitors are safer and so is calcium channel blockers.DocJ said:HCTZ is a very mild diuretic and has been proven safe to take for long periods of time. Whoa! I'd like to see that research, Ca channel blockers have TONS of side effects. Were they specifically looking at HCTZ?pineapple said:ACE inhibitors are safer and so is calcium channel blockers.
