Went in for my labs. Hormone stuff wasn't ready. Liver function, perfect. Kidney function, perfect. RBC etc no problems. Triglyceride levels were 619 (Normal range 35-190). Good cholesterol was 23 (Normal range 40-90). Bad cholesterol was normal and I believe the ratio betwen the two was 100 (Just handed the labs to a nurse at a different hospital so I'm not sure what the normal range is, but I fell in the middle)
Doctor says it's unlikely the 250mg a week of test/5000iu a week HCG (split into 2 injections). He says it was likely diet. He said my fat intake must be too high. But I monitor all my macros and my fat is 150 grams a day with about 25-30 grams being saturated fats. Being diabetic, carb control is also important. (P+C+F) for breakfast, (P+F) until the gym, protein only 30 minutes before the gym. 50 grams dextrose mid-workout (Or I wouldn't be able to finish) protein shake postworkout. 2 hours later my blood sugars are at the low end of the healthy range and I have (P+C) ratio of 1:1. 2 hours post meal my blood sugars are well within the normal range.
I'm at a cardiology specialty hospital now (I'm freaking out if you can't tell by my post already.) Any personal experiences? And I just started adding HIIT to my program last week. Hoping 'natural' changes will bring these levels down. Need to do something about my good cholesterol too.
