i am doing regular deadlifts ,i am using proper form and i guess my weak point is my lower back ,,any ideas ?Behemoth said:What kind of deadlifts are you doing? Are you using proper form? What rep range, weight, etc are you using? Any idea where your weakpoints in the lift might be? Some guys, it's their legs holding them back, some it's their lower back being too weak, even a weak grip can be blamed once in a while.
Some other lifts used to strengthen those areas could bring up your deads.
ArmyBrat96b said:Yeah, bad idea. There are so many variations of the deadlift that work more of your muscles...and no offense or anything, but I just don't see how you CAN'T add more weight...Try ADDING an exercise, like good mornings, to your routine in addition to the deadlifts...
