I need a new HRT Doc in S Florida

I know I'm new here but I am in need of some assistance and would appreciate any help.

I've been on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for about 5 years and had a great doctor but he has just joined the Miami Clinic (or something like that) and now his prices are outrageous. $700 just for labs..... Before all I paid was around $150 for a doctor visit once or twice a year and I could get my labs done and purchase my prescriptions wherever I wanted which made it very affordable. Now everywhere I check they have some angle to make it so much more expensive. Like I have to buy my prescriptions from their pharmacy? WTF? That seems illegal to me....

Anyway, I was hoping someone could refer me to a good doc located in South Florida.

I appreciate any help!

They don't have to be based in your area either. I talked to a few groups where it was actually cheaper to fly out an have tests done, see doc and fly home then what it was in my area because they wanted $700 plus for tests and another $1000 for the doctor locally. I understand the ripping you off feeling.

It was still more then I could afford though. It seems like the low T sponsors are even cheaper because they will accept other places tests which can be had dirt cheap. It looks like most of the monthly costs is in medicines versus outrageous doctors fees. I just had a brief conversation since they didn't have my medical records so I cannot be exact about info. Hoping to hear back in a few dad now that they have every thing and my labs.

Thanks Hammer I will check them out. I did check increasemyt and they were super expensive compared to what Im used to paying. Mainly because I have to buy the prescriptions from them.

If I use GoodRX coupons I get.
10 ml of Test Cyp 200MG per ML from Walgreens for $49.
30 1mg Anastrozole tabs from Walgreens for $15
10,000 Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) for $69

They want like 12x as much for the Anastrozole... Way to expensive.....

We are by far one of the most competitive for a cash pay service.

If you were getting it so cheap why didn't you stay with them? Oh wait you are paying 400 more for the blood work with them thats right.

So for your protocol we are $590 + 299 labs, $890 and guess what your refill will be $100 less.

With your $700 blood test and your meds your at $833 and that doesn't even count the prescription fee they will charge you.

OMG thats so much more expensive............... geez they are ripping people off lolololol

I guarantee our staff also knows 12x as much about testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) than your current place........................ Good Luck to you sir.

PS: what the hell would you need 30 1mg tabs of adex for with that amount of test, at that rate your bones are going to turn to dust, and your low SHBG will give you insulin resistance.

Walmart is hitting me $90.00 for my cyp! I've asked reapatidly if their was any way to get it cheaper and was told no.

I bet I've paid over a hundred theough them for 32 or so hypes tooo with the few at a time Bs! Again I could have filled whole script but it was outrageous! I had been hitting up my docs nurses to offset cost of hypes. I just paid $18.00 for a full case of hypes at little pharmacy that his opened up and their thing is compounding. I guess Im going back in to see what they charge for the rest.

I figured with what Walgreens was nailing me they'd be cheaper for it all since they were doing test weekly, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and an any estrogen to boot. The unofficial ball park was cheapest I heard if its true. But if your getting test that cheap and other stuff cheap maybe not.
A few places I checked into were in FL and one I actually talked to was based in FL. But even the cheapest was $1200 for 6 months of gear plus the 600 test and doctor fees. It sounded like with me only needing to get a $50.00 test through private md labs which is cheaper then I pay now and their fees is was best I've heard.
If you find cheapier please post.

also if you request an invoice from us for the lab work you can submit to your insurance and most likely get the labs covered.

I didn't pay anything for the prescription. Just paid for the Doctor visit once a year and then a phone consultation 6 months after that. Don't remember exactly the price but I think the Doctor visit/physical was around $150 and the phone consultation was like $100 or so.

As I said, my Doctor didn't require me to buy my meds from him so I just went online and found the best prices and they sent the prescriptions to those pharmacies. It was pretty good of them to send out prescriptions to different pharmacies for me. Actually, I wasn't always getting these good deals until I found out about GoodRX and their coupons. The prices always fluctuate a bit and sometimes Walmart or Publixs will have the better deal so I just go where it's the cheapest. BTW I have nothing to do with GoodRX. I always get great info from this and other forums so I thought I would try to contribute.

Your not ripping on me, you just don't really understand what your talking about so I thought I would clarify.

You come in here and start saying things like "that sounds illegal" you start throwing your numbers around for your prescription and you can't even get anyone to write you one............. on top of that your getting raped on your blood test.

Your making it sound like we are overpriced but you are not including all of the fees a Doc would charge to write you a prescription and all of those fee's are included in our price. We do not hide fee's like all the other cookie cutter clinics that do not know the first thing about this business. They buy an office, hire a doc, get a med list and start sending it out. Its pathetic. The Doc's can't even comprehend our programs most of the time, I know this because I talk to them all across the country everyday, and they have to be trained and certified in order to work with us. We only deal with the best, so if price is your only concern we are not the clinic for you.

I don't even think your a client to be honest. You know how many clinics we get in here trying to steal our business? Tons....... cause their model sucks and our's rocks.

You can talk about prescription prices all you want, bottom line is there is more to it than just the price of the meds. So whatever cookie cutter clinic your from, just go back. Not only are our prices competitive, I can guarantee NO ONE has the protocols we do.................. even if they did they wouldn't have the first clue how to implement them.

We are not the clinic your use to, you don't call us up and tell us what you want, that's not good business.

How do I know this? Because they call us all the time trying to get that info.

PS: just so you know, if we started handing out prescriptions, some guys would take it upon themselves to fax it to 15 different places, like I am sure you did. So that is never going to happen.
