I no everyone has days where your just not feeling feeling it, hard to get motivate, tired or whatever it maybe. So what do you do to get pumped up.
 
look in the mirror and ask yourself do i like what i see? what needs improvement? visualize yourself changing into your desired physique. listen to some good music, watch some you tube videos of whoever inspires you to lift and get ampped on pre-workout

NOW GO HIT THE GYM

Yeah forsure, had the same deal yesterday actually
tough to get my ass motivated and once i got to the gym i totally re-thought my process through and said to myself should I or shouldnt I, i knew if i didnt hit my routine i would feel like a bag of shit sitting on the couch watching tube and would bug me all night
i myself like that post said up top said listen to some good tunes, watch youtube video's till u get that pumped feeling, usually works for me, but yes for your question, very common, and if people disagree they dont have that thought every once in awhile then there full of shit PERIOD

I look at all the progress I have made and scarfice to get where I am at and i just push through it, if not it is easy just to stop.

Imagine you are 15 years old just starting highschool, a scrawny pale kid, with long hair with no confidence, only have a few friends who are wack, imagine one of them flaunts his alpha ness around you, even though he is wimp relative to everyone else, but you are even weaker than that, imagine your sitting down with this kid hanging out with another bud skateboarding, you guys are sitting on your skateboards, all three of you are about 7 feet away in a triangle, imagine he is throwing little rocks at you, and turning your head every time you look at him, imagine you what no confrontation with this "friend" because he is bigger than you, even though he is tiny himself.

You smile and laugh as if it is funny being hit with rocks, because you want to believe he is just joking, even though you know he is not, and he is embarrassing you, like he always has. Imagine one day you guys are just not friends anymore as you grew apart, and you are so happy you do not have to be humiliated anymore by him, you were just to scared to break the friendship because of fear. Image 2 years later, you see him again at a lunch table right near you, and now he is throwing corn. Imagine you finally say something to him and call him out. and he just ignores you. Everyone knows you guys are going to fight, its the talk to the school, and only you have no idea, he is still bigger than you.

2 days later, your in a car full of women and one of them gets a call, but its for you, it is him calling to fight. You are in a car full of women, and do not want to look like a wimp, so you go to the park where all the little league baseball games are held, and you fight, you get your ass kicked AGAIN. It kills your pride, you switch schools the very next week. You are now 22 years old, have grown, but no where near big, you are going to see him in 8months at a wedding, what are you going to do?

Man that would be the least of my worries to beat somebody up and get an assault charge lol
just to prove a point, by all means if i seen him again he would probably think twice before throwing something or picking a fight!
 
I think its ok to miss a day or postpone for a day your training. It shouldn't be done often, but we re not robots, and sometimes our body may need an extra rest day. Get rest, and kick ass the next day. Now if thats something you feel like doing often, there might be motivation issues..then u can follow all those good advice up here hehe
 
honestly bro, ive found that sex is my biggest motivator.... if i feel unmotivated, bummed out or lazy i hop on facebook and look at a few of the hottest chicks i have hooked up with, then a few that i havent......yet! and if that hasnt done it yet, i look @ girls who have blown me off . this is all while sipping on some coffee & listening to pantera or white zombie! then before i hit the road i look @ a picture of myself @ 225lbs to visualize what im working towards
 
Teutonic your the shit lol I was cracking up at that one. For me at 43 and working constuction my whole life there are days I don't want to get up and go work out but I just do it from force of habit and it actually feels like the days I'm really tired and don't really want to go once I get warmed up I seem to have great workouts. Hell it's only an hour if I didn't go the hour would pass by so fast and I would look at the clock and say "I'd be done by now and sipping some disgusting protein and yelling at the kids to pick the fucking skateboard". But meth works to lol. JUST FUCKING GET YOUR ASS UP AND GO it's all consistency !!! If you skip one it becomes a habit And promuscle you got some issues pal let it go you aint that kid anymore. That was me to and I held that anger for to long. Kids are kids we all change but I did beat the fuck out of a guy couple years ago that used to pick on me in school lol felt so goooood!!!

or take a day of rest. Prob not the answer you want to hear. If I dont feel motivated that day Ill push my workout back a day.
