If you do rotator cuff work?

Hey bros, on chest day do you do your cuff work before you hit chest or after? I enjoy doing my cuff work first to warm up my shoulders but I was kind of worried about over fatiuging the cuff by working it before chest and having a bigger chance of cuff injury. Thanks in advance.

Definately before. Don't over do it. Its a warmup.

why not do a brief RC warmup on chest day, then the majority of it on a completely different day so you don't over load it

The key to rotator cuff work is to do it with light weight and low overall volume, and not too frequently. The heavier the weight, the greater the involvement of the exterior muscle mass, which is not what you're trying to develop. RC muscles are stabilizers and should be trained as such.

Rotating your arm with the elbow bent, standing or sitting, I do them standing with 2.5 pounds.

I do them after my chest routine, very light, and not to failure.

I do the cuff complex before and somtimes after i may also do on an off day..heres what i do each exercise is done for 15 reps with no rest in between thats 1 set..i started with 2.5 bells and the idera is to work up to the 20's over the course of a few months (not weeks) you cannot injure yourself by wamring up a muscle

thumbs up front raise
thumbs down front raise
thumbs up side raise
thumbs down side raise
external rotator
