Inability to Aromatase anymore?

your E2 levels are about what I'd expect for your test levels. Not sure why you would think you aren't aromatizing...you just won't have high E2 with no test to aromatize. Those levels are higher than mine with a healthy TRT dose and no AI.

I know it seems far fetched, but I'm continuing to have low E symptoms even with my current T levels. My body is losing all kinds of fat/water I look more fit than I have in years, andthis is AFTER I stopped super my low carb diet. Bones and joints cracking and more painful by the day, decreased orgasm sensation, insomnia, constipation, dehydration with excessive urination.

Only things I can contribute it to was either vitamin E mixed tocopherols, super low carb diet with already having low T and thyroid issues (my total T before the diet was less than 300) or a combination of both. Someone mentioned genetic issues can happen with a low carb diet.

I'm basically just searching for answers as to what's going on, Dr's only give me the minimum lab work and say everything is normal anyway....so I'm stumped as to what to do. Maybe J crashed my adrenals?

Not sure if many people here are familiar with finasteride and what it does to some of the men who use is....it is said to sort of block androgen synthesis. I had low T for 7 years after taking it as well as thyroid issues.

After taking vitamin E and doing a super low carb diet I am getting symptoms related to low E, even though my blood work shows "normal" range. Ok what other long term side effects a low carb diet would give someone. Stopped the diet about a week after feeling the symptoms and they are still getting worse.

I have lost fat and my skin has tightened, as well as gained flaccid size....all my bones are cracking and hurting more by the day. Cannot hold water I pee it all out and stay dehydrated, insomnia, constipation, brain fog...getting all these symptoms which keep worsening but my body looks better than ever. I have no idea what's going on and neither do doctors sorry if I seem scared but yea I am.

Here's some recent bloodwork:

TSH: 2.75 uIu/mL
T3 Free: 3.55 PG/mL
DHEA: 213.6 uG/dL
Total Estrogens: 88 pg/mL
Estradiol: 18 PG/mL
Free Testosterone: 62.7 pg/mL
Testosterone: 341.27 NG/dL
Vitamin D3: 45 ng/mL
Prolactin: 10.4 NG/mL
Glucose: 101 MG/dl
A1c: 5.1%

Sodium: 136 MMOL/L
Potassium: 4.2 MMOL/L
Chloride: 99 MMOL/L
C02: 30 MMOL/L
BUN: 8 MG/dL
Creatinine: 0.8 MG/dL

And no I haven't taken a drug version AI before, all I had taken was vitamin E mixed tocopherols which I've read interferes with estrogen synthesis, and I was doing a super low carb diet which I read can mess with thyroid signaling. But I've been having these side effects about 2 weeks now and they keep getting worse.
Your levels aront that bad at all to be honest, an unpopular statement due to people wanting high test levels, but your free test looks decent (how is your sex drive, I'd imagine not bad at all)..I know guys much lower and they feel fine, and their libido is good to go..

Konflict I wouldn't go crazy worrying about the vitamin supplementation effecting estrogen levels, most of that info/data you hear/read regarding estrogen is actually geared to women, so SORRY to say boys, it really has hardly any effect on us men...Sucks , I know..But it's clinical proven to be true...

To be honest, your blood work with the thyroid and test/free test is right where to should be...Its actually not to shabby at all..No one is a Doctor here, and none of us can give you real life advise far as your health is concerned, I would speak more with your specialist, but if it gives you any comfort, your levels aren't out of the ordinary and are rather normal for your age..

I would adjust your diet, do not have any fear with fatty foods oils from nuts ,flax seed, get some omaga's and such..Get some more carbs in there (sugar), you're brain needs sugar, without sugar your brain will not function properly, yielding clogged thoughts like you said, it will hinder your cognitve thought process in so many ways..Sounds to me that you limited your sugar intake to much!

Drink plenty of fluids and go back to the drawling board with your diet...

This all sounds diet related if you ask me..But do continue with a follow up with your phyiscian..

Yea I feel like I really may have screwed up my HPA.....here's an article regarding women and keto diets but I'm sure this also applies to men (especially of the protein and fat % are higher)

Idk....I know I have some sort of ADH issue because I am peeing non stop and am totally dehydrated everywhere in my body, or its low estrogen becuase a symptom is of it is water retention trouble. I still think it's my inability to Aromatase because of all the joint and bone pain. My body feels like it's totally on fire.

My doctor is damn clueless, and refuses to write me a referral to a specialist becuase I'm on low income free health insurance....they don't give a shit they just want their pensions.

Here is a look at all the tests I've had the last few weeks:

Labs from 1/24/17

TSH: 2.75 uIu/mL (0.34 - 5.60 uIu/mL)
T3 Free: 3.55 PG/mL (2.5 - 3.9 PG/mL)
DHEA: 213.6 uG/dL (5 - 690 uG/dL)
Total Estrogens: 88 pg/mL (60 - 190 pg/mL)
Estradiol: 18 PG/mL (<40 pg/mL)
Free Testosterone: 62.7 pg/mL (46.0 - 224.0 pg/mL)
Testosterone: 341.27 NG/dL (175 - 781 NG/dL)
Vitamin D3: 45 ng/mL (30 - 100 ng/mL)
Prolactin: 10.4 NG/mL (2.6 - 13.1 NG/mL)
Glucose: 101 MG/dl (70 - 140 MG/dL)

Sodium: 136 MMOL/L. (35 - 143 MMOL/L)
Potassium: 4.2 MMOL/L. (3.6 - 5.1 MMOL/L)
Chloride: 99 MMOL/L. (98 - 107 MMOL/L)
C02: 30 MMOL/L. (22 - 30 MMOL/L)
BUN: 8 MG/dL. (7.0 - 21.0 MG/dL)
Creatinine: 0.8 MG/dL. ( 0.6 - 1.2 MG/dL)

New labs as of 2/6/17:

Cortisol - 11.22 UG/dL (6.7 - 22.6 UG/dL)
Lactate Dehydrogenase - 114 IU/L (98 - 192 IU/L)
C-REACTIVE PROTEIN,HIGH SENSIT - 0.05 MG/dL (0.0 - 0.7 MG/dL)
Sedimentation rate Automated - 2 MM/HR (0 - 15 MM/HR)
LYME AB IGG - NEGATIVE
LYME AB IGM - NEGATIVE
Rheumatoid Factor < 7 IU/mL < 14 IU/mL

If I decide to supplement on myself I saw that DHEA and D-aspartic acid stack can raise testosterone as well as aromatization...so I may go that route. Unless the doctor tests for my ADH hormone and discover it's that.
