Increased heart rate/fluttering post testogel application

I'm pretty sure it's not placebo...

But after applying testogel 10 mins or so after my heart feels faster and I feel a bit more twitchy? Not anxious but more as though iv just had a hit of stimulants, what I'd imagine a panic attack might feel like?
Is this a normal symptom post T application? Havnt measured blood pressure by could do, it's always been low never had issues before.

I had the same effects from androgel - it stopped doing it after a few weeks. You are reacting to the transport mechanism (the chemicals they use to get the test through your skin). Be careful and watch yourself, I had terrible bad mental side effects from androgel. I felt anxious, dysphoria, fear, sadness, suicidal, and paranoia. My wife tried to tell me I was changing, becoming crazy...but the paranoia kicked in and I refused to believe her...

So monitor yourself, better still to ask a loved on to keep an eye on your behavior, just in case.

What other chemicals are in that Gel ?
is there anything listed other than Test?
Maybe your estradiol was going screwy on it???

It really is not much:

Active ingredient: testosterone
Inactive ingredients: carbopol 980, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, purified water and sodium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide is also known as lye or caustic soda.

My test levels never got about 320 while taking it, so I doubt my E2 level was very high - but true to form they never tested me for it. I can say that with injected test I have no E2 problems with my test in the upper 500s. 1% of all people in the manufacturers test study reported having my symptoms. Also, post use reporting to the fed gov (which is completely voluntary) shows that some users reported having my symptoms while on androgel.
AndroGel®*(testosterone gel) 1%

EDIT: I was on the 1.62%, but it is the same effects as the 1%
It is interesting to note that the logical side of my brain told me "I will show her who is the crazy one...lets do a scientific experiment. I will stop taking the gel for a few weeks to let it clear my system. When nothing in my changes, I will prove it is her. I can then restart using the gel." Of course, doing that cleared the side effects and I saw she was right. I then did a short test by taking it again and felt the changes begin again in me (since I knew what to look for) so I stopped immediately and they went away. Score one for having an analytical mind! :)

I would guess it's the IPM (isopropyl myristate), which is added to increase absorption through the skin.

That is the stuff that would make my arms and chest flush deep red for a few seconds after I applied the gel.

Yehh I get that too, mentally and a feel notm... Just the upped/fluttery heart rate for half hour after...

Is it something that should stop me taking it? It doesn't bother me but don't want to cause any damage to anything...
