Injection Site Pain and Test Flu-need advice/suggestions

Need advice on my injection site pain. First three injections of 250 Test E 125 Deca-no problem. All injections have been in my quads. On MON did my 4th, next day woke up with an extremely sore leg and 48hrs of flu like symptoms (nausea, body aches, fever, sweats). I've read Test Flu is common, but trying to figure out what triggered the extreme pain and sickness vs my first three shots. What I did differently this time was my leg was bent instead of straight and I did the injection lower (closer to my knee) on my quad. Was trying to mix it up to avoid pin scar. Right after I had a great leg workout-read a lot of guys recommend working out the particular muscle group after a pin. Pending advice-from now on I'll stay in the middle, meaty portion of my quad, heat it up prior to pinning, and not work out after an injection. I've been out of the gym for three days feeling like crap. Fortunately a guy I work with had the flu so I was able to blame him, and said I banged my leg on a door knob, but DO NOT want a repeat performance as it's counter productive. Also quit taking my Dbol the last 3 days as I didn't want to waste the strength it gives me while working out. Thoughts? Suggestions as to what I did wrong, how I can avoid this again?

Thanks

Maybe you did just catch the flu from that guy at work, it has been going around. Test flu I thought just can come from Sustanon (sust) but I've heard now that it could be from any test but rare anymore. Prob pinned to low, go back to normal spot. First cycle ?

Yeah, first cycle. Think it was connected to my injection because of how bad my leg hurt. Could hardly bend it, still walking with a limp. There was/is a golf ball size firmness under injections site now starting to recede. Thinking maybe it was a combination of injecting too fast and too low on my quad because the other injections were fine. Maybe too close to a nerve? Even hurt while I was injecting but I chalked that up to newbie pinning pain.

Yeah, you can look up on YouTube and find a video on how to shoot on your quad. Easier that way I stead of me trying to type it out for you.
