Is Anavar really a waste at 14% body fat?

My plan is to do 600mg/week of Test E and 50mg Anavar ED towards the last 6 weeks of cycle. I plan to eat about 10% above maintenance calories, to do a slow, clean bulk/ maybe a slight body recomp. End goal, I know some of the bodybuilders here will think it is cheesy, is to be on my way to the general vicinity of the regular dudes they have on the cover of Men's Health. Not incredibly big (do want to add muscle though, just not 30lbs), but definitely cut. I've been reading that Anavar is a waste if your body fat isnt 10% or below. Why, and is it true? Will it really not help with vascularity/muscle hardness at 14%? If not, what would (besides a straight up calorie deficit)?
 
I'm planning to start a similar cycle soon with the same compounds you're using. I already bought everything and have the cycle planned out. But first I'm trying to cut down BF% before starting the cycle, and it's really been motivating me to push through and not slack off my diet. I'm using the cycle as a reward after I'm done cutting.

Keep in mind that once you start the cycle, you won't have another chance to lose fat until at least 10 weeks later, since you don't wanna risk losing all your gains. So my advice is to get shredded first, then start a cycle. This way you'll notice results better too and you'll have a more impressive physique by the end.

I've been on Anavar for 60 days and notice a difference in my "love handles", as they've melted away! I'm only using 20mg a day and 300mg Test/week. Anavar isn't as weak as most think. I'm cycling it 90 days at 20mg. My diet is the same and I've not changed my workout routine. Var does work.

over all i think var can be a waste if you dont happen to site on apile of money all day or happen to get very cheap bulk var powder.

I've heard masteron is pretty brutal on hair though - I don't know a ton about it though.
 
Var is a good compound but it really isn't all that "powerful". I wouldn't stack it at this time.
 
I'm not far enough into the juice game to be down with putting more than 2cc total into my body. Had bad experiences with the quads, I only do glutes and delts. And also, Var being mild is part of the reason I chose it. Guess I'm still slowly testing the waters.
 
Your always gonna get mixed reviews on this one. But trust me. At 14%the bf youll be fine. Your gonna love that shit. Assuming u have some good var. I was definitely higher than 14%i at my start and i lost almost all my fat AND made LM gains. Could it be better? ...sure. doesnt starting leaner yield better result...yes..mors noticeable anyway. Will it be a waste?...absolutely not. Rock it out!
 
But on the other hand...how difficult is it to drob 3-4% bf??? Not too hard. Can be done in a short amount of time. So for me...being limited on time due to my cycle window. I started before i finished cutting. Worked out fine tho. Dont sweat it. If u have the time...cut up. If not, just go for it.

Mind sharing your routine and frequency at the time? were you doing lots of cardio, too?

I lifted as heavy as i could for the first 8 weeks and did cardio in the am fasted. But ate enough calories throughout the day to get me thru heavy lifting in the evenings. Then for the last 4-6 weeks i changed it up and did circuits. Crossfit type stuff because i wasnt losing much bf as i wanted to and gaining weight..LM gains mostly...some water. So circuit trIning got my heart rate up. And instead of long runs i did sprint repeats. A lot of explosive repetition. Melted the fat away and still didnt lose much LM gains.
 
I was attempting do something similar however I was on a more vegan diet keeping fats, sugars and carbs to a minimum. My energy levels were so low I had to add fish and chicken back in as directed by others on this site. Do you have any advice for a Newbie? I have not started a cycle and I am doing as much research as possible before starting. I need to lose about 8-12 lbs of fat before I reach my goal weight and then start my gear. Do have any advice that may help?
 
Im just starting, do you have any advice? I use about 150mg of Test Cyp per week now for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), so Im not a stranger to test . I have just not used any others, I have to lose about 8-12 lbs bf to reach my goal weight. I would like to gain some mass (20lbs) and look and feel better.
 
Im on my first cycle of 500mg test e a week..... Im starting week 9 tommorow. Ive been on 60mg anavar every day for the past 2 weeks and i noticed a huge increase in strength and vascularity. Im pretty much doing a recomp as well... So far i am up about 12-14lbs, but ive also lost alot of Body fat.
