Is Creatine and BCAA's a Must for body building?

I've heard mixed reviews. I know that protein and a proper diet are a must to build muscles but what about these supplements? I'm currently taking GEAR and casein protein powder shakes to help build muscles but is there anything else that is a must?

Creatine and BCAA's are a staple in my supplement regiment yearround. I wouldn't say they are necessary but very beneficial. I like powerchews from NTBM.

i'd say yes to the creatine, no to the BCAAs.

if you eat enough whole foods (specifically animal products) you shouldn't have any need for extra aminos. Plus they're damn expensive and taste nasty - unless you get something like the power chews

just my opinion.

Everyone goes by different formula's. I always believe diet, training, then supps. Supps that I hold sacred and are my staples for building, protein, Ammino's, and creatine. You can get a good bit of protein from diet alone, but helps to aid to get your goal with shakes. Creatine though best in supp.

I allways use the 2 of these every day, i take powerchews creatine and bcaa with my cup of coffee every morning.so for me its a must use.

Aminos and creatine Aretha a must but try are great. I try and stay on both year around. I like using NTBM gear and acient strength.

Anabeta is a well reviewed and well liked product for gaining some size too. Orbit has it and sometimes on sale. Ancient Strength is solid too and not expensive.

I get my creatine from Muscle Pharm's preworkout, Assault. Im not dick riding them but the raspberry lemonade is the best thing I have ever tasted and the energy is very nice with no crash. I've been through about 7 tubs and not stoppping anytime soon.

As for BCAA's, I also get those postworkout from MP's Recon. Once again, watermelon is the best tasting thing I've ever had.

Anyone ever taken Muscle Pharm's Assault? Any reviews on that?

Haven't tried it myself, but heard most who have tried it liked it.

I kind of find it odd regarding not responding to creatine, BCAA's are essential in building muscle so not sure why one who is trying to accomplish to build muscle wouldn't want to supplement with them to maximize your effort in and out of the gym...IMO. Try it and see if it works for you, if not then you know from personal experience.

With this bulking diet I have tons of energy in the gym already...I think I just need something to help me push out those extra reps.

Will Wal-Mart creatine capsules do the job?

What is the actual manufacturer of the Creatine? I would be kind weary about just buying any old Creatine supplement...I like to try and find the company that has the best reputation for quality products within my price range...get what I am saying?
