First let me start with my basic info : I'm 20 years old. Been lifting for two and a half years. 170lbs, 5"7, 12% bf. My question is is it okay to take t3 without taking steroids? My goal is to get into single digit bf.I am just concern on how much muscle mass I would loss if i dont use any gear with t3. I am also planning on taking it for five weeks and cycle off for eight weeks after that to get my thyroid back in shape.I will probably carb load during that time too. I heard that t3 goes well with clen but I wanna know if its okay to take it alone. I am a newbie so please be nice to me :)

You can do whatever you want....however, i'd read the link by megatron first.

Clen/t3 is a bad azz combo.

Well I can't say much about that but once in my teenage my coach suggest me to intake t3 nitro steroid to put on some weight. But actually I didn't take it.

Yeah , he ll be fine but he ll lose muscle..

Do u really consider this (fine)?

He won't lose any muscle if he keeps it at 50mg. I didn't when I was dieting. Your muscles will have the appearance of looking flat, but it's not actual muscle loss. The fullness of the muscles return after 4-7 days. Muscle loss occurs at 75mg and 100mg a day.

Says who?
50 Mcgs is twice what your body produce in a day ..
Doubling it for sure will target muscle tissue ..
I really won't go with (personal) experience

LOL increasing your protein intake will NOT stop t3 from burning muscle since the thyroid signal in your body is far, far stronger than any signal extra protein will send.
Also, extra protein means extra calories - wiping out any fat burning benefit the t3 will provide in the first place.

Naturals should NEVER supplement with t3 unless they have bloodwork proving that their thyroid output has been downregulated & know the correct dose to get it back up to normal (not any higher).
The only time any of this will be necessary is if you've been dieting for a long time and, for whatever reason, do not have the time to take a diet break at maintenance for a week or 2.

In the future, do not rely on bullshit theories spewed on a forum with no credible references :)

ill add to what rip has said..

make sure you are not hyperthyroidic before taking t3.. hyperthyroidism can cause many issues and you dont want to amplify them!

i stay away from t3 for that exact reason.. my tsh is naturally very low.. just barely within range..

Guys it's much more complex than that.

We can't tell you with complete confidence that 25/50/75mcg will waste your muscle away, because we have no idea what your normal T3 levels are. Unlike with steroids and natural test production, you can take a certain amount of T3 to "supplement" your natural levels. If your natural levels are high, then you're more likely to waste muscle even at low doses. From what literature I've read, your thyroid won't inhibit natural production till 75mcg or even 100mcg.
Upon stopping it also starts back up production very quickly.

I have naturally low thyroid levels (caused by an autoimmune disease) so 50mcg/day and I'm still within normal ranges. Everyone is different. Go get your levels checked.

The bigger question is why you would want to take it. T3 is known for its carb craving properties, which isn't exactly conducive to fat loss unless you take an appetite suppressant with it.

25mcg won't because a healthy thyroid already produces that amount of t3 a day. Why shut down your thyroid to make the amount of t3 it was already making, which is why 50mcg is a good starting point.

thats only if your t3 levels are WNL

I can put in a couple of cents worth here. I ordered some T3, just in case - I first want to get some new bloodwork from a new doctor before I take anything at all. My Tsh is 3.56

My wife's tsh when she had her last blood test was 1.96, so according to doctor, she isn't hypothyroid. She is always tires and lethargic, and she feels the cold even more than I do. She's been dieting for over a year, so we pushed up her food intake to maintenance, but she is still tired. Yesterday, she fell asleep at her computer. We want to find a new doctor - still asking around and looking, for new (proper) bloodwork, not like the rubbish the current doctor ordered.

This morning, she took one of my T3 pills 25 mcg and when we went to the gym, she was lifting like she used to do. She says she isn't tired at all today and she feels like she's 10 years younger.

I have told her NOT to take any more until she has new bloodwork, but she wants to see how long it will take before she starts falling asleep again.
